(I had the mother of all influenza a while back- between the fever and the aches everywhere- especially my hands for some odd reason- I ended up completely disregarding all safe doseage with asprin and ibuprofen for several days) hope you haven't got anything like I had.

Lay Off The Pickles!

Well, I mean if you have an ulcer, then virtual cannibalism by way of eating pickles and other acidic foods is probably not the way to go.

My dad had to deal with ulcers and it's no spring picnic.

Here's hoping the miracles of modern medicine and your indomitably positive attitude will see you through this with a minimum of hassle.

sup pickles. Hope that ulcer gets better. Those things are nasty. Especially sea ulcers, they just dont go away. A massive hole in your frekin foot, you just cant even walk, just leaks all day, absolutely horrible, . . . sorry. Probably just making you sicker.

Thats a lot of blood you lost. Sounds like it was very dangerous, how close you came to something overtly serious. Really hope they dont have to operate!!! So stay away from anything such as pickles! Ill be sure to watch those bloody rocks if you do.

Eat 4 jars of those 'No frills' Giant pickled onions......(wash em down with a glass of vinegar if you get thirsty)

Well i am feeling allot better today, thank you all so much. I'm still in allot of pain and have got one of the worst tastes in my mouth. But i managed to eat today and its stayed were it is lol. Erm... well i got to ring the hospital soon and find out what there plans are. I really don't fancy having a operation done.

I cant thank you guys enough, you made it so much better.

Now i have to find a way of getting the aftermath out of my carpets and my car, lol. Anyone know a CSI cleaner lol.

Pickle, I empthasize with you bro. Fortunately, my ulcer stays fairly dormant. Straight white vinegar should help neutralize the odor in your car. Good luck!
