I just caught the story on CNN. So sad. Who will dodge the bullets now?

I had heard rumblings of this over the past few weeks.

Thoughts?

Wow...Coulter? Really? I guess she would make a good mouth-piece for the administration. And she is really good at dodging punches...matter of fact...she is the Rocky of dodging punches.

Chainsaw Dick...hehe...thanks for that

Oh yeah, because Michael Savage needs a bigger stage to pimp his psycho-conservative BS.

Either this is a joke, or you haven't been watching the Rocky movies I have. From what I recall Rocky couldn't dodge a steamroller. He got the crap kicked out of him every time. He was always able to make a comeback, but wasn't much of a dodger.

She's a jibbering idiot, she can't function as a spokesperson. Her manly adams apple will just be too distracting!

Ann Coulter; AUTHORITY! - Not. Too bad she thinks Canada actually participated as active combatants in "Nam" and that she can "fool" Canucks into her approved history. I've got a hockey puck named Ann Coulter - takes a beatin' and still doesn't say anything intelligible. Just who we all need as "mouthpiece" a confident self-assured not-unattractive bleach blonde with a confabulation-truth streak toward historical events a mile wide and a nano-meter deep. Not good enough.
How about Mrs. Bush at least she can read and tell the truth.
Scary thought - David Frum - Victor K screams, and bursts into flames and jumps off the 12th floor executive balcony - Studebaker Hawk style.

Poor Scott! You couldn't pay me enough to do that job. There are only so many times a person can act like they're answering questions while not answering them at all. That takes a toll on the integrity system, no doubt.

Bloomberg

This is an interesting little tidbit. I wonder why ...

McClellan, on Monday, said Bolten told senior aides that day to "refresh, reengage'' or quit now.

I wonder what's coming that people would have to 'refresh and reengage' for?

Rove is also switching it up...

Karl Rove, Bush's deputy chief of staff and his top political adviser also is shifting roles, the Associated Press and CNN reported, citing unnamed administration officials.

Rove is giving up the job of policy coordinator and will focus on political strategy, while keeping his title as deputy chief of staff, AP reported. Joel Kaplan, the No. 2 person at the Office of Management and Budget, will become deputy chief of staff for policy, according to CNN.

Something's in the works, I believe.

Yeah, I realized that in hindsite. I was thinking about all the bruises and cuts and brain damage and was like "wait a minute." Nevermind. Coulter is a snake. She would be a perfect replacement for that slithering little turd Scotty. I still say we should leave Bush up there all day long. Its like watching cartoons run the world.

Like, how about getting rid of the real criminals? I know, it doesnt work that way, unfortunatedly...This new appointee of Bush's appears to be an arrogant SOB. Just what the administration needs.

Wow, Bush is losing a press secretary every 3 years or so. I guess everyone, even politicians, have their BS breaking point. After all that's what the Press Secretary is for, they are the tampon that keeps the underwear of politics unstained. Every once in a while, it needs to be changed.

(I could have used any metaphor. Air filter, wind shield, oder eater, but I thought the current administration had so much blood on it's hands that tampon was apropriate)

I know this is easy to say now, but I saw this coming a couple days ago, when word of a 'staff shakeup' came out. The first thing I thought was, Scotty Mac is going to quit. Every time I've seen him lately he has looked like he is about to explode. Trying to cover up all the lies told by this administration, and put a patriotic spin on everything it does must be super hard on a person like Mac. Impossible for a decent, honest person, to be sure.

What really got me was President Bush's comment that Scotty did his job with 'class, integrity'.

How does God hold back the lightning bolts at moments like that? He must have other things in store for this bunch than sizzling shots of divine retribution. Like SLJ's character said when he shot Nino Brown in New Jack City - "Idolater, your soul is required in Hell!"

I noticed Marine One was grounded by a bad radio when The President and Mr. McClellan boarded for a flight to Andrews AFB. How fitting. They had to take a motorcade. What's with the big escort, anyway? Are they afraid he will spill the recipe for the baked beans if they don't keep a close eye on him?

I was listening to them talk about this on the way home from work, and well, by the way they were talking, I don't know, but it gave me images of a million rats jumping a sinking ship or something....
I haven't been able to keep up with the news too well of late, so, how many rats have jumped....or pushed overboard??

There are a couple of people who are being considered for the job. Personally one name I saw that made an impression on me was Dan Senor. Every time I see that man on TV he’s always articulate, direct, on point and very knowledgeable about his topic. Not to mention his voice and personality are direct and he does not sound like a school boy nor does he seem like the type of person who would let the media embarrass him on National TV. Sorry but to me McClellan is too easily pushed around, we need someone in there who will keep that privileged white house press corps in check.

McClellan will remain until a successor is named. Possibilities mentioned include Tony Snow, host of a program on Fox News Radio, Dan Senor, former coalition spokesman in Iraq, Trent Duffy, former White House deputy press secretary and former Treasury spokesman Rob Nichols.

Tony Snow? So what, he will go from lying to the people to protect Bush on Fox News to lying to the people to protect Bush as Press Secretary?

I guess they will just make his payoff official now.

Man, I still remember when his daddy was in office, sure the economy sucked, we were in Iraq, deficit raised, education fell, Cheney was the VP, and democrats were blamed for it, but at least we weren't... Wait, its the same thing!!!!
