I believe there is more to the Royal & Ancient than meets the eye.

This was not the case pre 1952 when the R&A acted on it's own.

Well this certainly shows the bi-polar clashof Iranian society, modernity against conservatism. Being an American I don't know what R&A is, being at St. Andrews, is it sort of the UK form of our PGA. And what part of their history would lead you to believe their are other factors at play. Not accusing, just curious, I have never heard of the RA?
