Hey check out these photos of a soviet underground base

Until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 Balaklava was one of the most secret towns in Russia. 10km south eas of Sevastopol on the Black Sea Coast, this small town was the home to a Nuclear Submarine Base.

Great Find

Its always interesting to see these types of facilities. Looks pretty small in some of the areas. more small attackboats like an ALfa rather than a Typhoon but cool none the less. Wonder how it would have faired in a nuclear blast.

A very good find for sure. I too like seeing pics of these kinds of places. It looks like a real tight squeeze in there, even for an Alfa sub.

Thanx for the links! I'm an "underground" (non-CHUD) kind of guy and love this stuff! Superb pics.

I love things like this. Older structures used for such purposes just amaze me. There's a good chance we don't know about the many others out there.
