The police, as wonderful as they are at times, really have no place at a crime scene other than cleaning up the mess and maybe being able to track down the perpetrators.

Buy a celphone,and hope that when you use it to call the cops to save your ass that they aren't busy writing an important speeding ticket, (Revenuemoney,greenbacks for your piece of # politicians).

Or buy a gun that's right there when you need it.

How about someone looks at the other side of the coin here?,like how many people saved their own lives because they had a gun to defend themselves from a criminal who was trying to take advantage of them being unarmed, and found out the hard way that they weren't.

Everyone NEEDS to preserve their right to self defense.
That doesn't mean you have to own a gun,it means you have the option to if you choose to.

Once the governments are the only ones with the guns,you will find they do not work in your best interest.

If you are afraid of guns,maybe you should buy one so they don't scare you so much,so people with guns are not such a threat to your "unarmed self".

Strange, with that kind of information available, only the negative aspects of gun ownership ever makes the news...

As long as it is a part of the Constitution, I say give every person, legally qualified to own one, a firearm.

A smart person knows how to avoid a fight without having to resort to violence. Guns don't kill people...stupidity kills people! If someone is dumb enough to break into my house, invade my privacy, and threaten my well-being, then they deserve to be shot...

That's the way I feel about it...
