What's the deal with GLP

I am not a huge fan of GLP
; however, I do visit the site on occasion. When I tried this evening I received the following message.

Your IP Address Has Been Banned

Proxies are automatically banned

Posting links to GLP hater sites = auto ban

Too many posts within a small time period = auto ban

Spamming the site with bumps = auto ban

I seldom (like once or twice a year) post on the site; so, I do not understand why I was banned. I am sure that my life will not be drastically altered by this rejection; but, I would like to know the reason. I have also emailed the site director for resolution. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
