Think tank recommends satellite road charging for UK

Could this be the beginning of tracking everyones movment throughout the UK?

This would be a very good way of the government controlling how far and where we could travel, espeially if you cant afford things they close you down to one area to be in.

An idea I thought of is that you could price certain areas so high they could never be entered....

They are already implementing it in Germany using GPS but the system sucks badly. They are month over deadline and there are losses of millions on the project.

It would be even more foolish from the british to use the same system as the Germans, the problems are too obvious. Currently the swiss has the best system but through the lobbys it didnt make it on the German roads.
