The New American Revolution? Really?

Lately, both on ATS and elsewhere, I have been hearing a lot of people muttering things about a future revolution in America. My purpose here is to start an INTELLIGENT discussion on if and when this will happen, and how you believe it will manifest itself.

Will it be an actual armed conflict for land?

Will it be mass boycotts of the economy and all things controlled by the state?

Will it be a diplomatic split of the right and the left? Or maybe Christians vs. Everyone else?

I will reserve my opinion for a while...

If there is a "revolution" I can assure you it wont be christians versus everyone else unless they start making them wear yellow crosses and sending them to concentration camps little eichman.

but in those, lets hate christians society, I dont doubt that is a possibility.

I think it's more of the American people "uniting" under ideas on TV shows, etc.

But now to the topic. I think if there is another "Revolution" it will be "Secret Societies of the Elite" and "Ol' boys network", "Mega Corperations" v. The Average American and possible assorted celebrities who care. But "Revolutions" always began in the mind then change the world. But I just hope for the best, what else can I do?

The revolution has already started, and the weapon of choice is information. Bullets don't start flying until the last few days of a revolution.
The bottom line is that the people rule- just by sheer numbers. For bad guys to maintain power, they now have to suppress and distort information. AND THEY GO TO GREAT LENGTH'S to spread propaganda and "strategic information."

The people will choose their future based on how stupid they are, not how well informed they are, because the powers that be will always win the disinformation war. They have paid career people working for their cause, whatever it may be.

The revolution has begun with ithe internet and information a long long time ago. It's sad that "that flew right over your head boy."

That's nice, then make a website and "beat" the NWO that way!

The possibility of a revolution to me is extremely possible, and the possibility grows as the years go by. I think that a revolution in this nation will be armed, and it will be a combination of this: corporation, elite (assorted, illuminati, rich, etc.) vs. americans, as in americans who still believe in freedom not slavery to the elite, corporations, etc.
Yes all revolutions start as simple acts of informing others, Mao, Stalin, HITLER, George Washington and the other founding fathers, Fidel Castro, etc. all started out as demonstrations and protest. However they all failed in peaceful methods, they did succed when they went with arms.
However here is the problem:
They let their enemies live to come back and fight them another day.

If WE are to overthrow them once and for all we have to make sure NONE of our enemies escape us, if they do then we must hunt them down and finish them off. Its called learning from history, others have set examples of how to take over, now we have to build on it and make it quick, merciful, and have a permanent effect.
I do not believe anyone here or in the USA as a whole would like to have to see another revolution take place after one we would or will have soon. Remember when the teacher said the future is up to us? Frankly I am embarrased as what is being left to the next generation, do we just keep passing our mistakes and screwed up policies onto the next generation? Or do we FIX THEM so they wont have to bleed to death for our mistakes?
You will NEVER defeat them by writing petitions, protest, boycotting, etc. their empire is so vast that you wont stand a chance.
The proble we face is we DO outnumber them, HOWEVER they outnumber US with military power at the moment, also police, FBI, CIA, NSA, etc. which meens they can swarm us and wipe us out without having to raise so much as a finger should we get close to winning by peace (winning by peace will take divine intervention).

The revolution is coming. It will soon be here, and I can't wait. The day of freedom and intellegence is upon us. The day of stupidity and ignorance is coming to a close, survial will depend on skill, not money. I just can not wait until the day comes. As far as I can tell, it will happen between 2015 and 2022. The people will be fighting their government. The U.S. will crumble as a nation of politics and policies. But it ill be rebuilt in a new order. Ruled by compassion and intellect. The hegamon will unite us, with a swift tounge and the knoweldge of right and wrong. Together we will be the "savior" of the time. We will wmerge as a hero through the fighting. The peacemakers and keepers. In a time of war, we will make more sence than before, until recently it looked as though we would be starting the revolution to restart the country. NOw though, in the past few years it has become aparent to me that the war is happening, and all we can do is be ready for our time, be ready for the good of all humanity. No longer shall we need money, no longer shall the media controll the masses like drones, and no longer will talentless rich people rule and controll. We will set us free. We will achieve. I recognize my role in the future for the good of all, I see my place, and accept. That is all.

What we're seeing in the media, except for a very few sites on the Internet, is totally controlled. And why do you think the bad guys are trying so desperately to get their fingers in the Internet communications network? So we cannot share what's going on.

As a country, we couldn't be more torn asunder politically than we are right now. The left is the antithesis to the right on every issue--which is usually the case--but now it seems like the gloves are really off, damn the collateral damage(i.e. pissing off the moderate/independent middle class).

I think it will be the poor/middle class against the power elite. I think the 'right' is coming to see that what this administration is doing to this country is hurting all of us, not just the left.

I agree that the use of propaganda is the means to influence the population every dictatorship when in power the first thing they do is to get control of the media.

But we are living different times.

Is a revolution going on but more like a revolution of the minds people are more Aware and more educated about what goes on in our nation.

That is the revolution that will take center stage the one that people will demand the Truth.

The political right (which many times is antithetical to the right wing citizen) has a whole lot of BS to unload at us, but little in the way of actual solutions.

This is pretty much the same as the Democrats, who are thoroughly rotten as a party as well.

Should an idea come out of the woodwork, that would encompass a national vision (I prefer the Constitution and Libertarianism), then they would fail from internal rot.

Let's be clear. The Big Two political parties are money gathering companies, whose product has become empty rhetoric.

I agree that the revolution has begun, but unless there is a major spark, the ideas will die within the minds of the people, unable to remove themselves from the rut of the status quo.

It is simply too risky to be the spearhead in this country due to the professional slimers and institutionalized dirt collection/projection.

Someone needs to act, as only actions bring the ideas to life. Ideas bind us, but we have lost faith in the America the physical, and hope not to lose the America the theoretical.

There will be no revolution anytime soon. Our Country is still far to balanced. we have the Extremes on both political partys constantly fighting, and usually the rest of us fall somewhere in the middle. Will there be a revolution....eventually...when one party truely dominates....in my lifetime....maybe towards the end...but soon...?....no way in hell...

History has shown us that revolutionary times are generally going on somewhere....however....Actual Revolution only occurs when the MIDDLE Class of said society is empowered to stand up and fight. Thier are revolutionary sturrings here in the United States...however those could easily be assuasged by the right kind of political leader, something i think we need to be wary of in the upcoming elections, or force. Either could very easily set a revolution back a decade or two. I do however agree with most of you on this thread in that the Idea of revolution and the probability of it happening are both likely. More has to happen though before I believe that Middle America will get up and say we arent taking it anymore. Illegal Immigration coupoled with Tax Breaks for the wealthy may push Middle America enough, but that remains to be seen.

I believe that If and when there is another Civil/revolutionary war that it will not be spilt left to right.

Our last civil war, I believe, Is a great litmus test for our next revolution. Forces had been mobalized by both the North and the South before the war was out right declared...but the people were still torn between who was right and who was wrong. Enter the idea of Slavery and BOOM the Middle American class gets involved. What we are lacking right now for ALL out war is something like Slavery to energize the people. Now I AM AGAINST SLAVERY I just want to make that clear....But the real reazons behind the First Civil war was the direction this country was taking...wether it was going to be agraian or Industrial, slavery was simply the vehicle by which the Ruling class got the "soldier class" to enlist. Right now we are choosing wether we are going to be Incorporated or Non-Incorporated...and The rulling elite are looking for an Issue to energize the people. So if and when a civil war breaks out it will split families apart again...brother will fight brother and father will fight son. Again this is MY honest opionion...and I am open to other ideas.

Somone mentioned rome....if you want to have fun....print out a time line of Roman History and then print out a timeline of American history.... One might notice that American history is like a compressed version of Roman history....following this model we wouldnt have another couple hundred yearsof rule we might have another 100 MAX....but this is just a laymens Opionion on how the timelines appear.

A hot button issue is all that remains between us and the REAL possiblility of civil war in this country. Are you really willing( The You is not at anyone specific) to go down that path. Violence begetts violence...Now im not advocating total arms removal I understand that others out there would take advantage of something like that...but what I am saying is that EVERY culture since the dawn of time has looked back at previous cultures and said we are better we are more civilized and How could they think like that? Let us not make that same mistake...We need to look back and realize that violent revolution only begetts a violent end. PEACEFUL protest is the Ultimate way to achieve ones goals...I know that at times it seems like it doesnt work but in the Long run if we really want to set up a peacful pragmatic New Government we need to start that government out with acceptance and tollerance not bigotry and violence.

Anyone who leads a revolution in this nation in the name of freedom and ending this madness is a liar if they do not maintain the virtues they fight for DURING the fight.
To narrow it down (what I would do, this will get me locked up for sure during the roundup):
#1: keep the public informed, never stop the flow of information, if it slows down try and speed it up. Keep at least the basics running: Radio, news papers or fliers.
#2: As areas are taken form the economy again, keep food flowing and business running (non-corporate)
#3: Allow the freedoms the people have never had, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, etc.
#4: DEFEND them after you have taken an area, dont abandon the people to the enemies bombs, if you have to evacuate a city so be it, just make sure they are all safe.
#5: keep foreign knowledge and relations going, dont leave the rest of the world in the cold or YOU will be left in the cold
#6: Do not become the enemy, do not kill without reason, do not unjustly punish those who you capture no matter how evil they may be (if you were to catch the son of adolf hitler *I know he never had one* treat him as you would any of your enemies, and make him stand for trial like the rest, full equality) do not murder, rape or pillage (pillage enemy armories but not enemy towns) and uphold the law.
#7: WAINTAIN LAW (I have said this before) as in do not do away with police, keep them around, keep the fire departments around, keep the hospitals up and running for the people.
#8: Do not cut the people off, if they wish to travel, let them travel, but make them fully aware of combat zones, danger zones, anything that might get them hurt. If they want to travel to Washington DC which would still be under enemy control no doubt: THEN you say no (for protection from spies as much as protection of them from being executed as a traitor) and so on.
#9: Keep the boarders going, dont allow rampant immigration/emmigration, keep it controlled to some extent so you at least know how many are comming or going.
#10: Always, ALWAYS keep peaceful methods going, if you dont have to blow something up to capture it dont blow it up, just re-use it if possible. Dont burn towns to the ground unless its a 90% anti-you stronghold.
#11: maintain defences, in short anti-foreign invasion force defences as well as anti-govt./elite defences to keep their troops out.
There are to many things that would need doing, these are but a few that I have named.

As I have said before:
All revolutions start as simple information spreading, I would not give the nation so much as 100 years however untill a full blown revolution happens. The death toll of waiting that long would be horendous, millions dead for nothing and we have not attempted to stop them yet. As for when we will not know.
As someone else brought up:
How many of you would ACTUALLY go out and support it once it began? How many of you would join in the lynch team to kill those who fought for you?
If anyone starts fighting it would be all over the media or not at all, if it was on the media it would be put up as a terrorist attack, mass murder, a bunch of yahoo's or crazed militia launching an attack on freedom. So when it breaks out be cautions of who you choose to hang or join. You might wind up shooting your ally instead of your enemy.

The next American civil war, will happen in the next 5 years, due to the lack of enforcement on "Illegal Immigration". Middle America will rise up and take to task all the politicians who are pandering for illegal votes. Well this leed to bloodshed, I THINK SO! Middle America, will not stand by and let it;s Soveriegnty be mis-applied. (Forgive me for my spelling) But the average American will not stand by and let the "ELITES" in power, throw away their soveriegnty. When this hit's critical mass, all those in Washington, will need to look over their shoulders!!! Real Americans will fight tooth and nail to protect what is theirs. And I'm afraid it will come to a mob rule, that "Thise in power, Listen to the people, or be taken out, by any means necessary" Looking at all the poles on the subject of :Illegal Immagration"...The American people are fed up!! If something is not done to satisfy them, then I think,, they will take up ARMS. Do I want this...NO!! But there is a part of me that believes that the only way for our elected officals to understand this, is to do that. This goes to both sides of the asile, Republicans and Democrats! Make all fire dept. aware that the 343 firefighters that died on 9/11 was caused by the government and we will take it down with our damn axes!!

Make the Police aware of the NYPD being killed on 9/11 was because the government planed it and together, we can take it down.

No way did that many emergency personel die that day from a fire causing those buildings to collapse. You see its called scene safety, and our Chiefs wouldnt let us go in if they had even a little bit of a feeling those buildings would collapse, no way, they knew they had time to rescue the people and get the fires under control.

Make these agencies aware and we will take this government to court in shackles.
