Americans' and their "Reality" TV has invaded Australia!

WTF? We have The Biggest Loser on TV at 7:00pm, 6th Big Brother series about to show, another Survivor and plenty more Reality TV after hours. I can't stad it whne you watch the biggest loser and they spontaneously cry every few minutes. Its the end of the world. And the best shows(Futurama had "disappeared for a few weeks) are on late. damn TV. Television is supposed to make you forget about reality, not show it.

Why is this an American problem being foisted on you? As far as I know, it all started, or at least became popular here in Europe, with Big Brother. Sure, the US has produced reality shows, same as many other countries, so its wrong to specifically blame them. The US has its problems, and deserves a dig or two about them, but I'm personally getting sick and tired of everything even slightly bad, being blamed on the yanks. Yes, they can be a pain in the arse, but so can we all. But, by and large they're a decent bunch of folks, as evidenced on this board. So, go on, give them a break and enjoy the damn good quality shows they produce, and dont watch the crap ones! Its that simple

If you dont like whats on, do what us intelligent Americans do....turn your idiot box off. Pick up a book. Learn to play an instrument. Climb a friggin tree. Surf ATS. Do something else. Quit blaming us for the crap we hate too.
