David Gilmour

Lucky me...

I'm going to see David Gilmour in Toronto Monday, April 10 at Massey Hall.

Has anyone seen his show lately? What can I expect?

I really like Pink Floyd...saw them in concert a decade ago and I'm still vibrating lol

Massey Hall is a great venue for Gilmour...so the show should be spectacular.

I had the privelege of seeing the show last night at Radio City Music Hall.

The last time Pink Floyd came to NYC I was too young to have anywhere near the amount of money necessary to go, so I'd been looking forward to it for a long time.

I must say the show was INCREDIBLE from start to finish.

Basically it was approx. 3 hours with a 20 minute intermission. The first half was songs from his new album (which are awesome!) and the second half was classic Floyd songs.

As I'm sure you probably have already heard... Richard Wright played with him, which was amazing in itself. Also, David Crosby and Graham Nash joined him on stage for a few songs on the new album, and for a bit in the second half as well.

The crowd was on fire and sang along to every Floyd song. I had no voice left after the show.

Without a doubt an absolutely great experience I'll remember forever.

I hope you enjoy the show, and anyone else reading this who likes David or Pink Floyd should get tickets because this doesn't happen too often...
