How do you become a moderator?

I was just wondering if anymore staff will ever be added? If there is ever any openings I believe that I would make a great addition. Just a thought.

but seriously, you probably have to just show a level of amturity that is acceptable for Mod status, and be available when they need someone.

There are 2 ways to become a mod.
Firstly show yourself as an intelligent, loyal, erudite, handsome, enthusiastic poster.
That way you might get noticed in a year or 2.

Otherwise do what the rest of us did ....

Find some dirt on Simon and blackmail him

I'm not going to name names but this is the single greatest way to have your name rubbed off the moderator consideration list.

If moderators are required, although at this time the 20+ team of forum staff is adequate, a personal invitation is the most often route I like to take.

Two good consideration factors are:

1. Time with ATS
2. Contributory history

I will take that in mind. Thanks for the info.

Don't forget that there has to be a NEED of a mod, So far we are cruising along and don't really need any more. ...
