That farmers are getting rich? since when. most of their produce is sold to food processors, they don't get that much money, since most of the
produce is sold to big corporations, who then can it, or freeze it or whatever. the food producers, also tend to hire low wage workers, and I
wouldn't be surprised if there are also a few illegal immigrants in the factories also. big corporations are mainly interested in one thing,
profit...buy the resources you need as low as you can, pay your workers as low as you can, and well, produce the product as low as you can...then get
as much as you can out of it when it comes to selling it. it the corporate way!!
of course then they pay a portion of those record profits that they earn to lobbyists who then go and whine at the lawmakers about how high their
taxes are, and how they need relief, or go off and find a few tax shelters somewhere...whatever. but, it seems that more and more of the bill for for
their labor force seems to be coming from the pockets of middle income americans.
corporations have no souls, no conscience, and well, obviously no morals!
