Meatpacker sparks mad cow testing debate

I find it odd that if it weren't for the US government agencies we created to protect us, we wouldn't be getting molested.
The EPA promotes pollution, the FDA promotes (GE) crops, and the USDA doesn't want animals tested for diseases before being processed.

And from what I have learned lately the people responsible for making these decisions have 'immunity' when it comes to their actions while in office.
In other words, there is no way they can be held accountable for their actions or the choices they are making that are intentionally hazzardous to all of us.

.... sucks don't it.

Sadly Canadian farmers and ranchers lost 2 billion dollars over the BSE issue.

Not much point in closing your borders for safety when your own testing system is shady.

I still believe the U.S. has covered up thousands of BSE cases.
