Police Press Conference Quote 14 July, 2005: "Hasib Hussain, an 18-year-old from Leeds, is shown in a CCTV image mounting the stairs at Luton station before taking the 7.40am train to King's Cross. There the four bombers split up and launched their attacks during last Thursday's rush hour"

However, it was STILL possible for the men to have arrived at Luton station shortly before 7.22am (which the CCTV photo shows them as doing) with tickets bought on an earlier day and have run quickly to the platform where the 7.24am train was waiting and which left late at 7.25am, i.e., they had about three minutes to catch it. This train arrived at Kings Cross at 8.23am, which is consistent with the claim by the police that the men were seen on CCTV at Kings Cross shortly before 8.30am.
In other words, contrary to the claim on 02/09/2005 at iraqwar.mirror-world.ru... which you are merely repeating,
the bombers could, if they had tickets bought on a previous day and had ran for the train, managed to get to Kings Cross before the first bomb exploded at 8.50am. There is no problem of time here indicating that the bombers could not have arrived in London in time before the bombs went off.

You state the obvious. But why, after all the pressure the police have been under do they stick to the story of the bombers catching the 7:40? The police have been adamant that they were on the 7:40, despite all the questions. Do you suggest that the Metropolitan Police are so incompetant that they would not liase with Thameslink?
