How many years?

Do you think 40-49 year in just for some one charged with two counts of statutory rape?

I would have to know more info.

if it were an 18 year old and a 15 year old, that would be much different than a 50 year old and a 10 year old.

He was 43 and she was 15
he was given max. cuss his ass lyed, that made me mad to he got off with out the kidnapping charge to...well at least he'll die in prison...at least thats the thing that gives me peace.

...lol that might stop people, but then again 50 years hasn't stped them... but most people get off light

Personally I don't care for statutory rape laws (the fact that I'm against fornication aside). If both people are physically mature, who cares (though emotional maturity can help)? If both people have gone through puberty, then age is just a number--you can have a fifteen-year-old who's more mature than a twenty-year-old.

Now if you get an adult messing with a prepubescent child, I say mandatory life sentence.
