Or so says Popular Science in their 7 page article, that I've read and felt was worth mentioning. Did search on the topic before posting, and found many great bits of info such as;

And what I thought was an article refuring to robots and torture...

But not about robots going into war, side by side with troops. It has aways been soldiers using robots, the nature of this has evolved.
I own the magazine that is highlighted, it will have a valued place among my library.

Takeing this PopSci report into account with AI studies. It might be more clear as to the environment of that influence for change.

robots in war nothing new the Germans had remote control bombs to take out allied positions. Though not the sophisticated ones used to day its probably its direct decendent!
