Immigration and the Socialist State - Sweden

The referenced article discusses some of the problems that Europe now faces due to its implementation of socialism and the nanny state, mutliculturalism, as well as an open and out of control immigration policy.

There will be massive unemployment, and tens of millions of people will feel angry, scared and humiliated, betrayed by the system, by society and by their own democratic leaders. This is a situation in some ways similar to the Great Depression that led to the rise of the Nazis in the 1930s. Is this where we are heading once again, with fear, rising Fascism and political assassinations? The difference is that the “Jewish threat” in the 1930s was entirely fictional, whereas the “Islamic threat” now is very real. However, it is precisely the trauma caused by the events of 70 years ago that is clouding our judgement this time, since any talk at all about the threat posed by Muslim immigration or about preserving our own culture is being dismissed as “the same rhetoric as the Nazis used against the Jews.” Europeans have been taught to be so scared of our own shadows that we are incapable of seeing that darkness can come from the outside, too. Maybe Europe will burn again, in part as a belated reaction to the horrors of Auschwitz.

Considering that the debate concerning muslims is being conducted in this country, coupled with the fact that we have 10 -20 million illegal immigrants running around, I wonder when the situation affecting Sweden, and the rest of Europe for that matter, will become apparent here. It is time for Americans to understand the intent of islam, somewhat explained in this article, and understand the difference between legal immigration and illegal (i.e., criminal) immigration. For you believers in socialism and entitlements (i.e., the nanny state), you may want to pay attention, unless of course, your goals are met in this article.

Note: I support legal immigration, as my grandparents as well as my wife were/are immigrants.

Bull. I am European, and the islamic threat does simply not exist in Europe. Especially in Sweden. There are a few nutcases here and there, but nothing serious as a threat.

As for Sweden's ecomic system collapsing...lol. Pure speculation. A few immigrants can not bring down a strong economic system like Sweden's.

Please get over the fact that socialdemocracy can be a good system and try to solve your problems with the Mexicans first...!

The threat is real but the European media is downplaying it.
They keep lying to the European public, telling them that immigrants are good for the economy and will boost the welfare state with additional workers but they are actually taking more out of the system than they're putting back in.

Even though immigrants from muslim countries are only about five percent of the population they receive about forty percent of all of Denmark's welfare benefits. link

That's going to require major changes to the benefits system to keep it afloat.
That's the opposite of what Europeans were told would happen with immigration.

The Europeans also have to deal with very high levels of crime due to immigrants from muslim countries.

America has an unemployment rate of 4.6%, compared to 9.7% in the EU. America's economy is growing at over two times the rate of the EU's.

Europe's economy is gradually declining, and as seen in France, the people aren't willing to let go of their nanny states...

Islam will bring Europe either to war and segregation or anhilation. They don't intergrate, the don't like any thing thats not their own way, they have no interest in a european view ( Culture or freedoms) and as for the millions now living within all european countries, well thats a very very large standing army. Because as we all know, when push comes to shove, Islamic people from whatever nation will turn on that nation like wild dogs once a holy war erupts. (Just look at the protests world wide at the drop of a hat if they don't like what you say!)...insult one, well you had better have a good plan to deal with them all)

And just look at all the Islamic servicemen in UK /US forces who refused to fight fellow Muslims....oh the writing son the wall here people- the goverments of europe are just too scared to act.

WTF is wrong with Muslims when they can actually say western women can be raped because they don't wear the veil and burqa?? Oh goodness me... theres trouble ahead and thats for sure. (wonder what the backlash against a Iran strike will be?)

I was in Denmark a rather long time ago. Went to a remote place to see a viking-fest and all that, and in the bathroom at the train station there was a sticker "muslims go home". You can't say the probelm does not exist.

My personal opinion -- make immigration tough. Real tough. Close to impossible. Deport illegals. I think Scandinavia is abused by this wave if immigration.
