They can't 'weaponise' space beacuse that would put a rat amongst the cats.
Are the talking about aggressive recon, GPS type ground terrestrial support devices or what?

Why should the japanese feel any less inclined to protect their corridor to extra planetary exploration than anyone else? If nothing else they show a remarkable abillity to do more with less money than most of the existing extra atmospheric powers.

Its not necicarly good to be in the international stage making wars, its a one way funnel of money. One war leads to another.

Think about Canada, did they get stuck in things that were not any of their buissness, not seince WW1.
