Psychokinetic possibilities...

I have small children who like to watch cartoons and i happened to chance upon them watching a show on nickelodeon called Avatar. This show intrigued me because as I watched i learned that certain people had the ability to control a specific element such as water, air, earth, or fire. As I watched this show with my children it occured to me that maybe this could possibly be subgroups of psychokinesis. Examples being cryokinesis, pyrokinesis, electrokines, and just plain telekinesis.

I have few questions about this topic.

1) Has anyone personally experienced occurrences such as these?

2) Has anyone actually performed acts such as moving water or manipulating fire?

3) Does anyone know anybody else who is currently or was researching these possiblities?

Thats all i was wondering. Please if you have any information for me post it.
