People who come and post these stupid stories are starting to piss me off. It's very strange that they choose to mention that the hackers were recruited through ATS, these people are scaremongering, but I don't know exactly why. This is bad news for the site and is not healthy for intelligent discussion. We need to stay on our toes here at ATS, there are people actively working to ruin this unique board.

There is truth in what you say. Used to spend a lot of time at annother board. When we got to a point that discussion started to hit high levels and a lot was being learned, certain people started to appear that did not like it.

That is not a problem here as there are enough forums for every interest and viewpoint to satisfy almost anyone. But it was a shame, we had a good thing going for awhile. The discussion was moderate and respectful and people were reaching for the sky so to speak, discussing every possible angle about this experience or conspiracy that we call life.

sometimes and I know it is not the case here, but some sites the actual owners do not like certain discussions also, especially if it does not fit their preconceived notions of reality itself.

Go and read the thread before you comment, it was originally in military/government projects, and was moved when everyone realised what a joke it was.

So your saying that it's ok for people to make up stories and pretend they are telling the truth.

I insulted him because he insulted my intelligence by attempting to pretend that I was incorrect in implying that Ignorant/Speedsave, whatever his name is, is one person.

People like him should be banned, this board is great, but some of the rules are not helping the quality of discussion.

Your actions worry me.

well I trashed the thread, what more do you expect me to do? I can't just start banning people because they make one mistake, believe me I will keep an eye on him.

Ignorant/Speedsave, seem to be two different persons, but they do know eachother (I think). They have the same ISP, but different IP addresses.

its the same dude, just look at the way he writes. Come on, it wasn't a mistake, he did this on purpose for some reason, don't be naive.

well I/we tend to give ppl a second chance, though i almost banned him, because I thought their IP's were identical.
