I got onto that documentary after watching an interview with the woman (sorry I forget her name) from the Coalition for Freedom Of Information.
I found the section about the men in trenchcoats (directing the 'operation')and the NASA field team VERY interesting.
-Apparently NASA don't send out field teams.
-There were issues with 'men impersonating air officers' that was discussed at high levels in the military at that time. There was a shot of a
government document, hopefully its out there somewhere. I'll jump on google now. =)
The Kecksburg incident is absolute gold IMO.
-Tonnes of witnesses to the recovery.
-A dead reporter (who had photographs of the 'meteorite' stolen)
-Radio censorship.
-A crapload of sightings of the fireball.
-Presence of enourmous amounts of ARMED soldiers.
-Civilians being threatened with military rifles in more than one incidence.
-Officers that don't exist.
-NASA retrieval team.
-Evidence of non-local soil being used to cover the impact site.
-Broken trees with photographs.
-Tree trunk core sample indicating a period of stress for the tree in- you guessed it - 1965!
-The object came down in a controlled manner and actually changed directions as it came down! (those crazy satellites
)
I probably left out a lot but this is a great case that I'm surprised I never heard about this previously.
If it can be proved that there was a large military presence, also willing to use deadly force against civilians we might see some very real progress
in this case. You can't justify this kind of action against civilians, especially for the retrieval of a (controlled) 'meteorite', unless rocks
have somehow learned how to fight.
All the best to the Coalition for Freedom of Information. Hopefully they can achieve some good results for the benefit of the entire world.
Carewemust: After looking into this incident, I'm not so sure that these issues any controlled by any government agency. Could it be that there was a
secret agency created in the late 40s/early 50s to take care of this kind of material that has evolved into a completely separate entity? I know this
isn't a new idea but I've never seen any solid material (which I deemed credible) to support this theory until recently. Maybe this is why 'big
brother' seems to be so elusive. An 'older' brother long forgotten to almost all mainstream government through secrecy.
Another point was that no one knew where the soldiers came from. It was suggested that they had to be flown into the area, because there wasn't a
nearby barracks. Maybe they weren't even official military. The officers and NASA staff seem to be bogus, maybe the soldiers too. Hopefully they
weren't official soldiers, as it would raise some really big questions if the case were to go high enough.
