AIRBORNE CANCER

I heard that a certain information center had a leak of information about airborne cancer and that the rate we are going with GM foods etc that in the next deacde we would be able to breath it in but no one has really said anything about it. So basically in the next decade we could be breathing in crancer. I was just wondering if it is possible?

I am not too sure if that is scientifically possible, but if it is then thats very dangerous, where did this information leak from exactly?

i am not too sure just that they had this certain information center an my contacts told me but of course they couldnt tell me all of it

Cancer isn't something you can catch, it develops because certain elements damage cells. When damaged cells reproduce they form a cancerous tumour.

You can develop cancer already from airborne sources, including second hand smoke, radiation and car exhaust fumes. Excessive exposure to these things can cause cancer, but cancer doesn't float around. It's not so much a disease as a condition. So no, it isn't possible to breath in cancer.

However, if GM foods secrete some sort of chemical which can damage cells then people may develop cancer as a result.

Cancer is not a virus.
It is not contageous.
It is a condition caused by damaged cells reproducing. You can't catch cancer, you can only develop it by damaging cells in your body. Things like tobacco, exhaust fumes and radiation damage cells and cause cancer.

Cancer is not something that exists outside the human body. Cancer could not become airborne, as it is not a virus. It is impossible, now, and in the future. I think you are very confused about what cancer actually is.

I too am not clear on what this thread is really about. What connection is there between GM foods and airborne particulate and cancer?

I am not aware that GM foods ingested cause cancer but it is not impossible either.

Ignorant, I'm afraid you ran into someone who misread a lot of information and didn't understand the rest of it and then went around telling people Stuff.
