Sleep paralysis can happen only once or twice in ones life. )





BTW I have only experienced sleep paralysis two or three times in my life



uh The nubers seem to not add up here, Is it once or twice, or two or three times??

I believe I answered this already here:

You may have Sleep Paralysis only once in your life, you may have every now and again, or you can have it on a regular basis. It sort of depends on what caused the event to occur to begin with.

It depends on what is causing it to happen. Is it being sleep deprived, drugs (either illicit or prescribed), alcohol, sleep apnea, stress, or a number of other issues? Sleep paralysis is really nothing more then waking from stage REM sleep so rapidly that the effects of REM have not yet worn off. So how often it occurs is very dependant upon how often the person meets the criteria for some effect that will wake them rapidly straight out of that stage of sleep.
