People who have been able to investigate the group have found that they 'jump the river', that is, leave the camp, and used to go to a particular bar/motel of somesort where the owner arranged for local prostitutes to service them. This particlar place was busted a long time ago.

But what do you expect from an "all male" club I guess.

For the record, the encampent is an all male event, but the other social events involve women as guests.

there have been a lot of people saying bad things go on there

So?

I think there IS a reason they wanted it to be "men only", you know male bonding time

I seriously doubt that all the people that are in the club now, in the past, and that started the club, were gay. People have taken video of the meetings, there doesn't seem to be any of that going on, and people have gotten a good deal of access to the group, and there doesn't seem to be any of that going on.

I don't know what this means.

He notes that that is in the context of it being in san francisco, whether he meant overtly that there was a lot of man-on-man sex, or that it fell under some of the other stereotypical meanings of those terms is unclear.

it is rumoured that prostitutes are brought in

Women are not permitted on the encampment. That includes prostitutes.

The BC is a large group, and lots of guests over the years have attended meetings, and lots of reporters and researchers have had access to the group. If it was a gay sex orgy, then I'd tend to think that people'd be able to show that now. At the very least non-gay guests would be running for the hills.

Wow, an inquiry that found nothing; and a newspaper with a, "for shock value", money making headline; from 1989 and not from BG.

So, again there is no evidence that any "gay" activity takes place there. If they wanted to be "gay" then why go all the way to BG, you don't think these people have homes??

What rant are you on about now? This type of activity is already going on at the White House, and you call it ..."shock value"?

If you actually knew anything about the Franklin Coverup Case, you would understand how it connects to the BIG OWl at the Grove.

Hey I'm reading that book as well and have found it despicable. I wonder what Larry King is doing right this second?

How odd, I don't really understand what your all so suspicious about, I know off lots of all-male clubs that don't have big sex parties, why should they? Albeit some of these clubs are "secretive" but I think their are slightly more logical conclusions to jump to

I used to live 4 miles from Bohemian Grove and met alot of guys who worked there as waiters, etc. It was common knowledge that there were lots of drugs there, especially (oddly enough) Ecstasy, much prostitution and lots of homosexual activity. The prostitution is mostly run out of the Northwoods Inn by the lady that owns the Inn.
Don't for one minute think that these guys aren't power-brokering, making deals and forming policy behind closed doors. This is not just some simple camping club. My father (a high up official in Reagan's office) used to go to the Grove and also a friend of mine's father. Lots of political deals made there.

But for the record your father wasn't a member of the club, no? I beleive that is what you mentioned previously right?

Bohemian Grove is where the elites get "the goods" on their soldiers. Nothing will make you more compliant than knowing pictures of you with a twelve year old boy hang in the balance. Exposure of closeted sexual activity has always been a powerful tool for satanists.

You mean if one of the members does something the illuminati don't like they can black mail him with pictures of him having gay sex with other men?

Why must you report theories as facts. What you are saying is not true!

Well ok theories are theories not facts, but that doesn't mean it not being true is a fact. They're all possibilities.

No he wasn't a member but he went there several times to the gatherings. But that doesn't mean he wasn't privy to lots of secrets, he saw the same thing everyone else did. Because of his position with Reagan's administration, he was privy to alot more than most Grove attendees.

Why do you ask?

I wasn't trying to say he wasn't in the know, I just wanted to confirm if he was a guest or an actual member.

I think its pretty amazing that we have anyone that has any connection to the BC here too. I think a while ago we had someone that claimed to actually be a registered due paying member, but that was short lived.

JFK Memo to the bohemian club...

John Kennedy letter re Bohemian Grove invite - SF club June 11, 1957. Washington, D.C. A typed letter signed “Jack” to Roger D. Lapham, Jr., the son of the Republican mayor of San Francisco. The Senator, writing on his “United States Senate” letterhead, writes about the famous and exclusive Bohemian Grove: “Many thanks for your letter of recent date. I certainly appreciate your writing me concerning Martha McEnerney and I would have enjoyed meeting her very much. However, my secretary advises me that she was in Washington on June 7th, at which time I was in Arkansas speaking at a State Bar Association meeting. I regret this very much, particularly because of your kindness in writing me about her, and I hope that it will be possible for me to meet her sometime when I am out in California. I also want to thank you for inviting me to visit The Bohemian Grove this summer and I am very anxious to get out there. However, my plans are very indefinite at this time. If I do come out I will certainly get in touch with you. Hoping to see you sometime soon…”. At the bottom of the letter, Kennedy scrawled “I would like very much to come to the Grove some year – even if I am not able to now at this time. I appreciate the invitation & will be in touch with you on this

Okay,

How about this: Why is the Bohemian Grove called the Bohemian Grove?

Here is the definition of Bohemian.

Boat,
Because Pedophile or Homosexual Grove were a little dicey and have bad connotations.
