People who contact the terrorism hotline could have their phones and emails tapped under new powers to be granted to law enforcement agencies..........

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) revealed this week they would use the new powers covertly on civilians who offer information about suspected terrorist.

The whistleblower is also to be treated as a criminal!! Why would you bother if you are also to be spied on?
