The earth, the shuttle, et al. The visor has some scratches on it. Is that what you are referring to?

Also, please do not post such huge photos. I have high-speed service, but a lot of people do not. Try to post a thumbnail or a link to the photo instead.

I think the poster means the other circular object that kinda looks like Epcot Center in Florida. I would say it's a part of the shuttle or station that they are at. It is just really close to the visor and the earth is far away. That's why it looks really big. Either that or they are building the Death Star out there.

say pretty catergorically that its the nose of the shuttle and is from the last mission EVA when they had to remove the spacers that had come lose.

I blew it up... if one looks carefully just above the horizon of the Earth at the very top, just left of center, there is something?

Visors are normally kept very clean and great care goes into that... they can get banged-up I'd imagine... But whether it's anything significant?

I'd love to know what the OP want's us to look at... great pic.

You have the shuttle tiles, the camera, and some harness links to connect things to his suit. Nothing unusual in the picture. He's under the bottom of the orbiter inspecting the tiles looking for damage.

I agree that the image is the shuttle tiles, but want to thank texmiller for posting. I saved it and it looks great as wallpaper on dual 19" monitors!

Definitely the space shuttle you can see the wings at the 9oclock and 7oclock the centre of the visor is the middle of the shuttle with it trailing off to the 2oclock position, its just the curvature of the visor distorting the belly of shuttle.

Nice picture tho
