The biggest difference I see between the insurgents and the US military is the fact that the military doesnt seek to kill civilians. If we did, this
war would have been over in a couple months. The second biggest difference (or maybe I repeat myself)...we dont strap bombs to our bodies and
detonate in crowded markets, stores, hotels, resteraunts, etc...
We target bad guys, and happen to kill a couple civilians. Its terrible. I wish it never happened. We have no place in Iraq. We are WRONG. I am
with you here.
But, the enemy kills anyone they can to disrupt things. They have no goal. They have no morality involved in their decisions. They kill anyone,
without remorse. They dont need to adhere to the same rules and regulations we do. We can't behead people. We can't target civilians to disrupt
our enemy.
I agree with you on almost every issue you post. I just refuse to believe that because one house is shot up and some civilians died...the US is evil.
If we were truely out to kill the innocents do you think our conflict would have taken so long? Methinks Iraq and Afghanistan both would be very
uninhabited nations aside from the numerous US bases.
I thank God every day that you are wrong.
