Sex and the City

Everytime a commercial for this show comes on, I want to vomit. There is nothing even remotely catchy about a show involving shameless middle-aged women yearning for sex all the time (I would call them something else, but I wouldn't want to offend anybody.) It almost makes Friends look tolerable.

Nothing more. Just wanted to rant.

Alright, first off Yes I am a guy, and No I am not embarrassed for what I am about to say...

My girlfriend bought the whole series this passed christmas and I have watched quite a few of the shows with her. If you actually watch the show, its kind of like a behind the scenes reality tv show into a relationship.

Everything we do as guys, you can see how girls react to it.. because they deal with actual day to day things. If you see it on the DVD's, they do not censor anything and its basically an R rated show.

I'm not trying to preach the show onto anyone, but if you have not seen it.. save your opinion until you did.

I was always 100% against it until breaking down and watching a few shows with my girlfriend, and I was very surprised.

You know why it might be popular? Because it's probably honest about a lot of situations single, older women have to deal with regarding sex and relationships.

I'm a guy and was skeptical about the show. I didn't know what there was going to be in it that I could like. I rented the first season off of Netflix and I got hooked. It is quite funny and is not like some Lifetime chick show. Give it a chance.

To be honest, I just don't get it. I find it terribly boring. No matter how many dildos or vibrators or swearwords they stuff into the show, it won't make me want to watch it. It's just a smutty female version of Friends, and I loathed that pile of garbage.:w: So friggen cutesy.
