Ever since I started my new job, I haven't had the time the spend on ATS like I used to, but I still enjoy taking a quick peek at least once a day. One of the places I like to peek is PTS. On PTS, the "New Post" page usually contains about five posts. When you click the "6-12", "12-18" etc. hours you get anywhere from one to eight posts, tops. And half of those are Board Questions and Business!

I think when people see only two posts on a page, it perpetuates PTS's unpopularity. If people saw more posts per page, they would post more. The appearance of posts would bear more posts, just as the lack of posts per page make the page stagnant.

So how about instead of measuring PTS in hours, it is measured in days? For example "Last Six Hours" would be "Last Six Days". That way, you would see more than a couple of posts during a time period, I think that would make people want to contribute more.

Thats actually a very good idea.

Especially for newer members that are not to familiar with it, only seeing a thread or two will really put a damper on that section of the board and not get the recognition it deserves.

I don't see it being much trouble to alter that, although I am no web master.

I would recommend putting a suggestion to the staff by clicking the button above.

Sometimes ideas posted in threads go unnoticed, by posting it their it is sure to be viewed and if they like it you'd be contacted by u2u.

I was going to U2U the PTS mod or council-person, but I can't figure out who is who anymore. I mean, I couldn't find a page that had the staff's positions. The only thing I could find was where everyone just lumped as mods. Are there no more mods or council-people for different places?

You can speak to any of the Council members. :-) They'll raise it in the Council Forum.

I've made a post there, with a track back to this thread - as of now. So here is to hoping. It's now out of my hands, but if many members agree then..it is more likely to happen.
