Zeropoint Energy ThinkTank

My purpose for creating this topic was to explore the ways to extract energy from a zeropoint energy field. Regardless of whether one exists or not, I would like to brainstorm on ideas of energy extraction and practical use, assuming it is possible.

Feel free to keep your responses fairly informal. If the topic progresses, we may go into further detail of how some of the ideas may be achieved, but for now, let's just stick to the main plan:

1) How does one extract zeropoint energy from spacetime or subspace?

2) How does one divide its kinetic and potential properties into useful forms, such as creating electricity?

3) Misc. information or ideas on the subject.

4) Hazards of the process (e.g. high entropy or enthalpy reactions from the surrounding environment).
