Is it possible that everyone here on Earth (or in existence for that matter) is the same person at different points of existence. What if instead of being reincarnated and coming back inhabiting another body in the future, we come back in someone else's body that exists along side us. Perhaps when we talk to others we are actually talking to ourselves at a different period of our existence? Why limit it to people? Why not include all objects, living and non-living, into the mix? We may be just one entity that at different periods in existence inhabits everything in existence?

I half ass agree with this, I believe we have past/future lives... However I don't think its us we are talking to or whatever.

There is enough proof out there to say that this person was born and remember drowning in a particular area and turns out to be true.

Now this person didn't talk to their other person and so on. Its just how things are..

How does that prove that the person who drowned is not you in a different perido of your existence?

Here we have an interesting topic. While we seem to be interacting with others and the environment around us.One has to wonder what exactly is going on here.Through the eye,one would think that everything revolving around us is part of one huge world.Yet we dont exactly know how we compute all the information around us.Just simply looking at this as being this and the colour green is green just because, and when i talk its my voice, many believe that these primitive simple answers are efficient when it comes to viewing our lives.Evern the most complicated study and deepest amount of research into any kind of substance energy reaction
or law of science cannot be fully described ,due to many conflicting variables that can change the outcome of these different elements so to speak.

So we have our minds and are able to use them,as formentioned we are seeing through our eyes and going off of the fact of sight and sense.Interacting with others brings this sort of sense of connection that we are here now.Yet take away all senses and what would we be?

A mind.

Here I say this before i go.Do you remember before being alive
I will be back later on this.

Well lets say that our "souls" never do die. And we do inhabit another person, animal, plant, etc.

The universe is infinite, so what if when you die you inhabit another you thats relatively the same but at another place in another time.

Maybe if the universe is so large there are mirror images of the earth out there where people that look and act just like us are doing the same things at the same time.

Just a thought.

Ah, mytym, I see that you're seeing things in my spiritual lense. Here's some stuff to get ya;

First of all, assume that the spirit is not bound by time! If so, it can move through the 4th dimension at will. Like things in the 4th dimension, we may not be able to see the soul, although it could still affect us.

Now, given that, not only could one person's past be another person's present, but one person's future could be another person's past! This is because the two are the same person - the same soul, at different points in its journey.

The greatest possibility of this is that there is, in fact, only ONE soul - one essence, one mind, that experiences life in every possible facete of existance. We would, each of us, in essence be God.

Now, mind you, since I got to this part not through simple spiritual searching, but also through exploring the realm of 4-dimensional physics (with all the wierdities and oddities that apply), I also realize that this is not just bound to this universe!

No, for existance is not just living different people's lives, but living the same life over and over again, but making minute changes every time! You see, it's likely that there is a Supra-verse, a multiverse where every possible event that CAN happen, WILL happen (see my my "Tragedy of the Observer" post where I deduce that the possible number of alternate realities being created every moment from just our universe is 4.6656*10^6248). In this Supraverse God (or you) could live out every possible existance that ever was and ever will be... and there will be no shortage of lifetimes to experience.

God created the Supraverse, and then went down into it to experience what He created.

Well, if you take the recent developments in M-theory and quantum physics...everything is interconected.

I'm a huge proponent of Terence McKenna's view that the Universe is a "novelty conserving machine".

Also, through my own introspective and psychedelic experiences I firmly believe that "everything is everything".

so your saying we are more or less "evolved" than other people? Okay that doesn't make any sense. In this life I am caucasian. In my next life will I be Mexican?? I think we get more and more devolved every day, but not more or less evolved.

So you are saying I have HUGE multiple personality disorder?? And you are me. and I am making you up right now? or what?

It makes me think about this world as a place, where million tracks can be followed, they are just here, now, just before and after, always, one just picks in on one. So I find it possible for one going along a road another one has allready taken, therefore not exactly the same, like with the same people and so, but the realizations made, or same actions, same feelings, offcourse each human acts different on these things, lot of same roads taken, but expressed differently.

We all seem to be inter connected in this strange world, the amount of interconnections between us and the rest of the planet is indeed an interesting thing,Most animals on this planet all kind of go to the same tune.

Now there are differences between the species, very few have intelligence, only one seems to be as far as us.

What are we really, hmmmm.Well we are apparently all made of substance, some say its little tiny cells connected through some sort of code...or something.

Energy?Everything is made of energy slowed down.I heard that somewhere.

Am I you,are you me?Mabey.
I have a strange insight.I know my life...already.
almost that is,it comes to me sometimes I will perhaps create my future,or do I just know it. But how can i see my future,am I just a story in my own head,am i a version of something I dont understand,a collective part of eternal experience.

Perhaps I am crazy but,mabey..if i think hard I can know you and who you are just by closing my eyes and going to sleep.

Clones or parts of a whole a collective biological borg growing and changing spreading like a virus.Perhaps we are an entity whos concious are sparate yet our sub-concious are one being hosted by individual hosts ever reproducing yet retaining knowledge and gaining based on information exchange.

Just a small rambling
Scarecrow.

Perhaps there is a sequence to it all to, but rather than being dictated by chronology, as time is relative, it is dictated by the level of enlightenment possessed by each entity?

Mmm, interesting thought. Sort of adds another dimension to the expression "do unto others". You never know if you're treating your furture self like crap!

I often hear of a disaster or tragedy, and the thought crosses my mind, "I hope so and so is alright", or "Phew, lucky it was so and so!". I then realise that it may not have been someone I knew that was hurt, but it was someone that someone knew, thus I shouldn't feel so relieved when I find out. Perhaps the reason for this feeling is that we are all the same entity, thus a part of myself has been harmed?

In this part of it.Some may have the ability to feel the pain or happiness of other peoples experiences or life thread so to speak.Everyone has the ability to feel what others are feeling, some may go beyond this to feel what is happening to many or perhaps every one on earth, before after and during their own life span.

When talking about this wonderous thing called imagination one wonders if every thought or dream perhaps is linked to one or many of these other dimension/life thread things.lol

When talking about how the human species works and all life for that matter we are part of ever changing life forms,as far as memory transfer of our knowledge gained in our life to our offspring who knows how it works.

Perhaps it is stored within the changing of spirit as spoken of in some fields.Where the spirit of ones forebringers is changed throughout their lives being fully transferred upon death of the parent.

If we are just one entity living different points of our existence, it should eliminate any jealousy we feel towards others. Just think, eventually (or perhaps it has already passed) you will be that person, or have those things that you are getting so jealous about, you just need to patient.

I like to agree with this. Maybe the single entity did not like certain parts of itself and got fed up with it, so they separated into many entities. Each part is able to exist as itself, but still is effected by the other parts externally in our reality. If we all existed as one, and part of us was an abomination to the other parts, we would seperate from it, like an ultimate denial. This would allow each part to improve on its own though, which must be for the best. The entity would still be the one taking up existence in each part, experiencing the life.

Yeah an interesting idea was mentioned to me a few months ago along these lines, where the single entity could be represented as a pyramid. At the top it exists in it's most complete form encompassing everything below it. As we progress down the pyramid it splits into more simpler forms that exist in lower dimensions, such as humans, and even further down at towards the bottom you may have inanimate objects such as rocks. It's an interesting concept.

Often you hear people talkin in the first, second or third person. How about a variation on this, having people talk in the past present or future self? They could be experiencing different points in time simultaneously.

Has anyone ever thought that we are apart of a greater being, but we are not going to be living out each life, but we will have past lives. What I am trying to say is that once we had all our lives lets say 20 and we are done then are absorbed into the greater being, like we just a piece of the being, but we are not to say the entire being, that would experience every life. It think that it would be faster and more efficent if we were just a piece of the whole.
