Sheryl Crow's music sucks!

My g/f likes listening to her, but I'd rather jump off a cliff.

The thing that stands out about her music is the lyrics. Her lyrics are so simple that it sounds like a third grader wrote them. That kid from Hanson wrote more mature lyrics. I've heard people playing guitar on the sidewalk that are infinitely more talented.

Is it her looks.......'cause I'm not seeing it. How is this person pulling a paycheck?

She almost didn't make it, so for a while there were plenty of people who agreed with you.
I can't help but enjoy her popular tunes; they are light and bouncy.

She is one woman that I could actually listen to. She sings her own songs, plays her on instruments. I can respect that.

She is in the battle of her life now, fighting cancer.

Kind of ironic she breaks up with Lance Armstrong and then is diagnosed with breast cancer I believe it is.

to her and hopefully she pulls through this.

If you don't like her music, surely you can show some respect for her as a human through these rough times.

For the record, just because I don't like her music doesn't mean that I want her to die.

As far as her cancer goes, millions of people have cancer and don't have her kind of money to afford the top-notch treatment she will receive. Those are the people I feel compassion for. Believe me, she will make it through and it will be great for her career. Watch and see if she doesn't gravytrain it. That will be the unfortunate part.

Was not my notion to accuse anyone of going to that extreme. Just was not mentioned in the thread so I thought I would bring it up to bring it to attention incase it wasn't common knowledge.

I don't think she should be faulted for being successful and able to obtain the best treatment money can buy.

Watch and see if she doesn't gravytrain it. That will be the unfortunate part.

I am stubbornly optimistic so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt, although I see exactly what your getting at and would be disapointed if this was the case.

i'm not a fan of her either, but i'm picky with my music.

She makes decent music for a ex-Vegas showgirl.

But I would'nt want to listen to it 24/7 though.
