Blog Issues

I spent tons of time yesterday changing the whole look of my blog AND doing a new entry only to go to it today and find out that all the work I had done is gone!!! Including the entry.

What the heck happened???

We are moving the domain!!! Haven't you noticed! There have been a tone of messages announcing that we're moving everything from one server to another. Major work like that was not a good idea.

I knew we were moving the domain!

I didn't think all my work would get lost in the move though!

So it's all gone then?
When can I work on it? I don't want to do all the work over just to have it get lost yet again.

What did you do?

If you made changes to your CSS, I can try to recover that. But the data is on the old database server now.

I made changes to the CSS on Sunday .. but no biggie .. I can redo them again if you can't find them. It'll take me some time, but I think I remember what I did. Just let me know when it's ok to do this as I don't want to lose it all again.

And I posted an entry on Sunday which is also gone. I saw that others were posting and it was fine, so I really didn't think it was going to be an issue :/

I hope you don't misunderstand what I'm saying. The blog was totally fine after I made the changes. The new entry was there, the changes were made. It was completely fine ... until yesterday.
