Toronto area ATS members to have an informal gathering.

My wife is coming along because she's much smarter than me, and better company too...cuz I'm an old fart and she's a Goddess.

Hooters won't bother her, though...in fact, she'd get a kick out of it.

She will assuredly be there, drinking her wine or whatever, getting a buzz on and, when prompted, can make some of the most enlightening comments you've ever heard. Like I said, she's MUCH smarter than me and a lot more fun to have around.

Besides, she keeps me on a fairly short leash because I've been known to walk into lamp posts while in a meditative trance as I walk along.

my wife will probably come along too. She can join your wife, Masqua, as she enjoys "sipping" a bit of wine as well. I don't drink much but, if there's an alley handy, I can get a buzz on as well.

Thats great, BT...she'll be glad to know she's not the only 'lady' there. This should liven the whole shebang up a lot.

BTW...I officially name this the ATS Hosers Convention...all others welcome too.

I still would like to do this in Texas

I live three hours from Toronto, but unfortunately I don't feel comfortable driving around my own city, let alone finding my way to Toronto, as I just got my G2 in February. Besides that, I also don't want to miss any school since my final exams will be in April.

I'd definately be up for something like this someday though. A big international ATSer meet with 100 or so people would indeed be pretty crazy. I've only been to Toronto once. Actually it might have been Scarborough...meh... same thing. but I'll be sure to post if I ever intend on going again. Maybe we can meet up some day for some nice conspiratoral rambling or ghost hunting or something.

I have yet to find another ATSer in my city so far, which disappoints me somewhat. If it was within walking distance, I'd totally be there

Photos. Podcasts. ...... Well I would suppose that we all certainly should consider this as a distinct possibility.

I'll brink my digital camera and I'll take as many photos as I possibly can. As for making a podcast.....anyone bringing their laptop? Well, if you bring your laptop, don't forget to bring a mike along. You just "gotta know" that the conversation (especially after a few beers) will be worth saving. :w:


PS; bring tin foil.....maybe we can have intrepid give us a foil hat making demonstration?
