*WARNING* Ghostly Activity Video May Stun Skeptics!

This video clip is taken in Singapore, my country and the local playground was rumoured to be haunted by some child ghost. Furthermore, story has it that the swing will start moving by itself every night. When I saw this video clip sent to me by a close friend of mine, I was actually speechless. I don't know what to make out of it. What do you think? Hoax?

Hmm, my initial thought is that it's a hoax...I don't know. I mean I realize that the playground is said to be haunted but it just looks too convenient that the camera man knew right when and where to look.

The only thing the video has going for it is that it would be a considerably long string attached to the swing.

At one point the swing kind of goes slack in mid movement. That doesnt happen when a person is on it.

But then again a person isnt on it.

Convient camera.

I'm usually very skeptical, but that has really got to be the best ghost footage ever!!!
If the other swing was moving I would say its the wind, but the other swing is dead straight,
and the way the swing has a "kick" to it just like a little kid is sitting in it, well, that really takes the cake.

Maybe you should burn a candle for that kid and set him free, poor tyke.

Yup, got to be one of the most compelling videos that I have ever seen. Since it happened in my country, I guess i'll check out the place sometime. Hopefully the swing moves when I'm there.

Anyways, yes, it seemed too convenient that the camera happens to be there but what if maybe people know that something creepy happens there and they want to tape it. So some guy placed the camera strategically so that he can see the playground and tape the whole thing.

Frankly, the thing that bothers me is why didn't he went down to check/capture the playground closer.

My Story: My friends and i was playing at yishun park swing on the last day of school before march school holidays. One of the swing looks like being pulled back by a great force. We was scared and wanted to walk away but one of my friend kept swinging and don't want to stop.

After that, she began to act like a child. She even forgot her favourite songs. She even did something that she never ever dare to do. We suspect she was possesed. After that, when we went home, she told us that she did not remember anything. So, becareful!!!

Turns out Singapore has a reputation for being Asia's most haunted place.
Why don't you hook up with the Singapore Paranormal Investigators and go on tour. :-) Almost makes me want to take a vacation there.

The website/group that you checked out, SFOGs, is actually inactive anymore whereas SPI occasionally does such trips. I have an own group of close friends who check out haunted places here in Singapore.

Indeed, a lot of freaky stuffs do happen here. There was once even they closed down a huge hotel (named Cockpit hotel) some few years back because too much residual haunting happened there til the owner of the hotel calls it quit.

By the way, we had lots of haunting here and the main reason is the Japanese Occupation during WWII. Most of the famous haunting sites here revolves around places with WWII historical significance.

P.S : If you're planning to a trip here, I suggest food first, ghost trips second and lastly, a day under the sun.

It's a pretty cool video. One of the better ghost videos, but I'm afraid it would be ridiculously easy to create this video (or a similar one) with a fishing line (or other nylon wire) and a strategically placed camera. What gives it away? The fact that the swing only starts to move as soon as the cameraman zoomed in... Well, in my opinion anyways.

Well it does seem like a hoax at first and that it could be easily created using a line. Yet the swing moves if there was a person on it. It moves like a person using its weight to push it. I would think it would be really difficult to recreate it using the line.

The camera person must have been watching that swing for a long time and recording from the start to be able to catch that. Im not to sure if its been hoaxed or not but it is an intresting video.

It starts to swing and GAIN momentum as the zoom goes in, blocking the outside of the view...

When the momentum STOPS it zooms out. That is what I find strange and unconvincing.

Although it is very nice I am kind of unsure.If it is real I would love to know where this was taken.I wonder if there has been anykind of reason why there would be a ghost there,mabey a child died in the area?I dunno.Thanks for the vid!!

cool video In the film you actually see the swing jitter about like some one actually gets onto the swing - and then starts to go back and forward on it as its zoomed in on. Another point is that if it was string the swing would only be able to go as high as the person pulling the string, as any higher there would be forces acting against the string / wire.

Love it - just feel sorry for the poor spirit that is trapped there.

Look closly on video beleive you can see the seat where somone would seat seems slightly blurred like it's been smudged out like somone was their but been kinda cut out.

I think if it was a hoax then all theyd have to do is get a hundred foot of chicken wire rather than edit it all out on computer etc.. with how advanced computers are these days, even if it was real, noone would know. It could even be wind but I guess the other swing would move then.

Although this footage looks to be a hoax...I don't believe that is the case. I have seen a ghost before, therefore I do believe in them. Another thing, look at the way the swing is moving, it is moving exactly how a small child would swing. But then again, there is technology to cut out the person on the swing....hmmm...*scratches head* I'd say it's real.
