Hi, this is my first post. I'm not really sure if this news is up yet, but i just found this article and it looks as though several people, including Mr. Bush, believe that
using force against Iran's nuclear facilities is becoming more of a reality.

"There is only only one thing worse than the United States exercising a military option and that is a nuclear-armed Iran." -Bush

"This is more than just the standard military contingency assessment," said a senior Pentagon adviser. "This has taken on much greater urgency in recent months."

Hi Peter, welcome to ATS.

To the more seasoned atser's: Isn't the source of the story from that site that's put out some real questionable stories in the past? If that is the site I'm thinking of, I'd be careful with that source, Peter. Anyone?

Not sure about the source, but I think war is on the horizon. Syria and Iran both. March seems to be coming up everywhere in the discussions on the subject, coinciding with the Iranian oil bourse.

That article did seem a bit strange, a bit peculiar, could it have something to do with the fact that the author thought it important to mention the state from which bombers would fly?

I thought that a useless detail to add, and a bit suspicious to boot.

On an unrelated note, is the air force base able to use runways during or after a major seismic event along the New Madrid fault line? My guess is no... (I would have thought the bombers would fly out of Diego Garcia anyway, but what do I know?)
