When I first read this, I thought it referred the past Presidential election, but it was in fact the city council election for Palm Beach, Florida. Irrelevant for the most part, except that with a smaller election such as that, one vote has a far greater chance of making a difference.

Ann Coulter registered to vote in Florida, signing an oath on the form that all information was truthful. Yet, she wrote down her Realtor's address, which is in a different precinct than Coulter's house. Knowingly voting in the wrong precinct is a third-degree felony in Florida and is punishable by up to a $5,000 fine and 5 years in jail.

Here's the sticky part for The Right's Lady Macbeth: She wrote down an Indian Road address instead of Seabreeze on her voter's registration application. And she signed to certify the information as true.

"She never lived here," said Suzanne Frisbie, owner of the Indian Road home. "I'm Ann's Realtor, and she used this address to forward mail when she moved from New York."

Palm Beach Post | Ballot botch: Coulter votes in wrong precinct

Also, as far as I know, felons aren't allowed to vote ever again - something that, if true, I think is absolutely ridiculous, but nevertheless would not be taken very well by Coulter, I suspect. Not that she'd like the jail time either...

Considering that Coulter is an absolute savage when it comes to 'errors' like this when they are commited by other people, they should throw the book at her stupid butt.

While it is true that she would rip a Democrat to shreds if one were to do the same thing, that's not reason alone to do such a thing. I think she should be prosecuted if she did it intentionally, which I believe she did. She obviously knew she was writing down an address that was not her own. Therefore, she was most likely voting in another precinct to affect the vote. Perhaps her precinct was more conservative than the neighboring one and she wanted to vote in the more liberal one instead. Speculation, of course, but that's what I suspect was her motivation.

When Democrats go to the wrong polling station or try to vote even though they are not registered, it is called a "provisional ballot."

But let a Republican make a mistake and it's "let's send 'em to jail."

Everyone remembers the "Provisional ballot" right?

Showing up at the wrong polling station is one thing. Placing your realtor's address on your voter's registration application is another. Do you honestly think that was an accident?

Exactly. She didn't just mistakenly show up at the wrong polling station. That would have likely just been an accident. She intentionally wrote a false address on the registration form. I think you would realize if you were writing down someone else's address instead of yours.

Would you guys give carseller4 a break. He is obviously a repugnant and must attempt to defend radicals like Mr. Ann. I have witnessed vitriol before but The "Rev" Farahkahn and Ann, two of the most outstanding examples of blind obediance to an unsupportable cause, I've witnessed, are at a advanced level of hate talk.
Old carseller4 will eventually tire of trying to make gold from lead; everybody else did.
Let us not forget that the Repubs are for four thangs: "save the chilren, move forward, make change and turn the corner". Of course while these four statements which make up the entire public Republican program are nonsensical and completely meaningless to people who read on their own they are nevertheless inoffensive and easily memorized by followers who wish to explain to others just what they believe and why they support the current crop of incompetents degrading our country. Is it time for a major change?
Overdue sounds good to me.

I'm afraid they will likely continue to allow her to spread her brand of hatred with wild abandon...

She is hatred personified.... and what's scary is that there are people who actually love her.

When I first heard of this I almost fell outta my chair. There is justice in the universe!! I hope she gets some kind of punishment for this, but I doubt she will.
