WHy I hate this piece of crap country I was born in America.

Levi left. AS if you didnt know. They only had 2 more factories left and now their closed. Everyones laid off.

All the factories are closed and by my estimation. We are now the worlds leading producer of Drugg addicts. I live in Maryland. I went on a trip to PA and I heard on the radio that mining town had a major drug raid. Why would any sane person WANT to live here.

All the cars made here now are pure grade a #. We used to make really good cars. Now there full of electronics and all kinds of crap you cant work on yourself. So the governmetn can push a button and all the cars will #ing die.

This 77 years old life expectancy is a joke. With Aids and Drugs I realy dont see how the life expectancy could be more than 30. The US is the biggest lying sack of crap, when it comes to putting out numbers on inflation, deathratesor the multi trillion dollar deficit. One day the deficits gone. The next day is back. No onr buys this crap.

Politicians. Ruaaia has what 25,000 nuclear weapons. If their smart they have them all pointed at washington DC. These representatives, Represent stealing, smoking, drinking and whoring around. Youve all read the figures on stealing stamps, DUIs and dumping bodies in the potomic. They ever find out who killed that intern? Was it Chessie the lockness monster. Just more good old compasionate conservative republicans.

While %1 of the country drives around in their new SUV and talking on the cellphone. The rest of us our dying from cancer, paying bills from the hospital and wearing cloths full of holes. WE dare not charge one thing more on the credit card. Even a pair of underwear and give corporate America another dollar earned from the sweat on our brows.

Its a #ing joke that in the "most wealthy" country in the world, we subsidize third world countries and bomb the rest with Billions of dollars in war machines. While homeless people push shopping carts in the streets. Most cities are outlawing homelessness. As if its some kind of crime to be poor. Paid for by your tax dollars.

Even if you dont have a job, health care or food. Expect to get yoru taxs. If you dont pay them you will soon be homeless.

Other countries like Canada are moving to number one in quality of living. While the US slides to number three. Yup the US. The nations with probably the largest number of educated, hardworking God fearing people is becoming a 3rd world country. Because our greedy government is stealing everything and throwing it away. Weve become a disposable society with a disposable government full of disposable people and disposable incomes.

Don't get me wrong about what I think of the US though; I love this country & it's people.

I understand where websuspect is coming from as I often feel very much the same. I also do not condemn him for such ideas, especially if he is young. Also if he is infact young he isn't stupid or ignorant but in fact quite intelligent and observant in seeing the corruption in this country that most do not. Not to mention I can understand the perspective of young people being born into a repressed, destructive, world, while being lied to and fed a poor education just to find yourself helpless when and if you do finally see the truth. The older generations SHOULD have watched their posts better. Parents SHOULD have taught their kids what the truth was instead of relying on a poor public education system funded by a corrupt government.

HOWEVER, I would remind websuspect that true strength of character comes from standing your ground against the corruption instead of running from it. After all it IS your country, and being pissed off about the $HITTY condition it's in is certainly valid. Springer's passion to set the record straight is where the power "For the People, By the People" is found and needed if such changes are to become reality. That Passion sometimes seems void of Compassion while in reality it's not, but like websuspect certain ideas come across so vivid they shadow others. I could be wrong but I think if Springer and Websuspect were to meet with more time to discuss who they are and what they are about they might find out they are more like minded after all. Springer's Focused and Dedicated Direction might be the Constructive outlet and knowledge Websuspect's Youth and Angst are needing yet not finding. Just a thought, but what do I know....

Im not a teenager. Im a 34 year old man with a college degree who is very offended about how i and other people have been treated in this country.

Theres some good things in this country, which are the good christian people at the grocery store or any other hard job. WHo goto work and do their job despite the worst conditions. We still live in the greatest, most free country in the world and enjoy the greatest amenities and opportunities the world has to offer.

If the changes that are taking place (and I agree I hate them like hell) make you so angry as to speak against your best option on this planet, then MOVE.

If anyone is of the opinion that you can stand up and scream "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more" and those in power are going to stop, have that deer in the headlight look and say, "Damn, okay, we'll play nice now", you're living in a mental utopia which does not exist here on planet reality.

Now, bein's we can't logically stop what is happening, the only next recourse is a militia-type coup. I for one, aint ready for that one. I'm too busy enjoy my life and liberties that have NOT been taken away. so I'm left with voting for the lesser of the evils laid out on the plate before me when elections come around...and not talking like I think my country needs to be evacuated via a global enema.

I just believe that if you truly are as twisted up as you say you are...you should research the next best place to live on the globe instead of making hyperbolist negative statements about the US. Things are going south, but their not near as south as you are stretching them.

Your original post really pissed me off. The N-word had no place in the post. If it's bad, it's bad, no matter who uses it or for what reason. But enough of that.

In your recent post, I see the pain. And I understand. And, I stand by my provious statement, if you want to see what is wrong with the U.S., look in the mirror. Hell, lets all look in the mirror. The same thing applies.

The solution to everything you are pissed about starts at home. If you are concerned that people are homeless, go to a city council or county commission meeting and lobby for building codes that actually allow for affordible housing. We all know that it is the local government that sets the rules that make housing expensive. That's because home owners want their property values to rise as fast as possible. Educate your neighbors that this problem exists.

If credit card debt is an issue to you, pay them off and learn to live more simply. Do your best not to be envious of those that have more stuff. I am a little older than you and I am having to learn this lesson myself.

If you are concerned about gun control, teach someone to safely handle guns, get them interested in shooting. Gun control is enacted because most people don't know anything about guns. Go to the county commission and lobby to open a shooting range. If you have one, you are lucky, organize people to go clean it up. Help make non gun owners feel that we are not a bunch of fanatics.
Don't like SUVs and cell phones? Don't buy them. Buy a fuel efficient car and talk it up with your SUV driving neighbor. Hell, look into alternate fuel cars. I am.

Companies move out of the country all of the time. But look around. There are new small companies opening up all of the time. So many that it is very hard to keep track of them. Support the companies that stay. Buy their products.

Anger comes from the feeling that there is nothing we can do. The answer is quit being angry and DO SOMETHING. The fact is that little of what the government does is without our collective permission. Stop being angry and go out and change someones mind. There are extremists whose mind you cant change. Ignore them. Most people are constantly in the process of forming an opinion. Give them information. Most people aren't stupid, just uninformed. Educate. You are college educated. If not you, who?

Mostly, remember, America is mostly what you make of it. Government cant "give" you a good education. You have to take it. Government is not in the buisness of making sure you are physically and spiritually nourished, you are. If we insist that the government is responsible for us, we give them rights as well. If we demand that the government come into our house to check on us, we can't expect that they will only check on what we want them to. Quit handing over your rights.

Get involved, weed out local politicians that want to micromanage your life. Make it your job to improve this country.

You talked about what the flag represents. To millions of people in the world who are desperately trying to get into this country, it represents a chance to make a better life for themselvs. We are allready here. We have that opportunity NOW.

Don't throw in the towell. Don't stomp off to another place pissed. This place is worth saving.
