You know MA... I really dislike how you handled this.

I made your freaking change... I didn't see your second guess... perhaps a little bleary-eyed from some other activity I've been working on.

I gentle U2U nudge would have been much more efficient and would have saved the board from your rants.

Why get so mad? Everything MA said was the honest truth about this situation. There was an error on the site and he just brought it to peoples attention to that this whole problem could be resolved correctly.

Thanks for reading it as I intended it 10DeadInside10.

To those who can't yet see the importance of ATS Points in the 'new order' of things, be patient is my opinion. And invest wisely, don't overspend on a new dress every week...

Are you sure the post was made at 6:15 am GMT. I live in Mountain time zone and the 200,000th post was made before october 4th. At least i think arizona is in Mountain time zone. This state is really weird because we do not go on day light savings so our time zones switch.

Without a doubt.

GMT is Greenwich, England and an effective standard.

You are in a time zone at least seven hours behind, from what you've said (if the post happened on October 3 for you). Look it up on any time zone reference chart.

Newstead Abbey : The Black Friar

Does a Black Friar patrol the grounds?

A black robed friar says nothing but points a lost doctor the way to a pregnant lady about to give birth...

FACTS

The Black Friar is said to be a portent of doom, but he has shown his sympathetic side.

There has been no monks at Newstead Abbey for hundreds of years.

There are many stories about appearances of the Black Friar or Monk.

In some he seems to be a portent of doom but in this one he shows a more sympathetic side of his nature.

In the 1930s the wife of a houseowner in Newstead village was due to give birth.

The Black Friar stalking the grounds of Newstead Abbey
Her husband telephoned the doctor to come to the house as soon as possible.

It was some time before the medic finally appeared and the husband remarked that he was only just in time.

"Where have you been youre so late" he chided.

The doctor replied that he would have been later still if he hadnt stopped by a waterfall in the grounds of Newstead Abbey and asked the way of a monk who was standing there.

The black robed figure said nothing but pointed in the right direction.

There had been no monks at the Abbey for hundreds of years.

WOS - No, but I can't prove we are not related...
