I don't want to die either, iori...nor do I want to see my wife, my sons, their wives/girlfriends die.

But we do have to change.

There's no way we can keep up this lifestyle and keep the ecosystem going. We need to do what Bush said...get off our depencency on oil.

A slow transformation is what is going to happen...I just hope it's fast enough to keep the world from going into WW3, scrapping over the last bits left.

Welp, I'm just going to be watching for the signs. I would be perfectly happy living in nature, and not having to worry about modern day bs like putting gas in my car, driving to work, paying the government, etc. All we are is trapped in that system of life, without a choice really. I strongly believe that the people that will survive will be people with similar attitudes, and who emabrace nature, and realize that nobody is better than anyone else.

I always dream of what life 'could' have been if things weren't the way they were and humanity took a more naturalistic view of the world.
What if the early Christians did not destroy paganism?
Would our religious beliefs center more on our actual lives and its connectedness to nature instead of a god up there that we see when we die?

What if we did worship nature?
Would we take it for granted?

But no, nature is something to be conquered, subdued and to have dominion over.
