2nd American civil war

Do you think it is possible? That the US will go into a 2nd civil war and cause a new nation to arrise from the ashes or a renewed one? Why do you think its possible or not?

I think a 2nd american civil war is innevitable, the nation is following the same path as rome: A almost invisible rich class, small middle class, and a huge and still growing poor class.
Because of this rome was destroyed, the first american civil war was over economy and later prouded as a war of "human rights" and now we have increasing trouble with religons being persecuted, growing unemployment, increasing of militarism and police state in short Gulag Archipelago here we come! We have rampant sexism, facism is stronger than ever, rights are being burnt and destroyed left and right. So how much more will the public take? This is a long repeticiouse process of beating a dog, giving it a bone to make it quiet, then beating it again.

the majority of people in the united states are well off middleclass. they have decent paying jobs, and are fairly satisfied how their lives are working out and they are polotical and religious moderates.


well that and no one would want to fight.

name one person that would like to take on a M-1 tank or a trained soldier.

a, lets call it rebel force just for the sake of giving it a name, would not have the capibility to fight.

its impossible.

so what if you have some political radicals on both sides, they make up about not even 1% of the population.

you can theorize and guess all you want, but it wont happen.

though technically you could call all the republican and democrat squabbling in congress a civil war.

People said the world was flat once... that humans cannot fly..... that you cannot travel in space..... that you would never reach the moon...... hmmmm people have done or proved false all of these things. Also the middle class is SHRINKING, none the less there is no point in fighting with anyone over this if they think they are in the middle class because they are scared of the prospect. Also never assume you will be fighting poorly armed resitance.... and I think people are more willing to fight than most people would like the admit its just that pacifists are trying to keep things as they are so they get to keep raking in money from these organizations.
How to keep a populace subdued: Make them think what you want them to think. Put people amoung them who will try and subdue any resistance because they are to scared of the idea. etc. etc. etc.

Civil war? No. Revolt? Yes. Thre is a definite difference between the two,and I suggest you look them up. It should help your discussion.
