I agree that the early stuff on BadMotorFinger and Superunknown was awesome but personally I think that 'Down on the upside' is their best album.
It flows so well from start to finish, the instruments sit perfectly with each other in the mix, Cornell's voice is more mature and soulful and Matt
Cameron makes the drumming interesting without overkill.
Pretty Noose, Burden in my Hand, No Attention, Zero Chance, Tighter & Tighter, Switch Opens and Boot Camp stand out on this record for me.
It's even more of an achievment when you consider that according to what I've read they weren't even talking to each other during the recording,
which seems unbelievable given the musicianship on dipslay.
Anyone know of any good concert video torrents available? Especially 1995 Reading Festival UK which was the only time I got to see them, would love to
relive that experience!
