Does anyone know about “door” ghosts?

Does anyone know if there are certain ghosts types or spiritual entities that focus only of doors and locks? Because my brother has had a ton of experiences with doors locking on him or unlocking on him, and we can’t figure out if he is doing it with his mind, because he is obsessive compulsive about doors being unlocked, or if there are certain individuals doing it. For example when we used to live at our old house the doors to the basement would often unlock itself. When we would leave we would always deadbolt it and when we got back it would be unlocked an open. More recently my brother awoke to a noise and when he got up to look around he saw that the front door was unlocked, and its not a forced entry because its just unlocked, not open. So he went back to bed and in a couple of minutes the refrigerator door opened and his door slammed shut. I was just curious if there was a specific entity that messes only with doors.

I think ghosts are ghosts, and they dont particularly hang around doors or are on door duty.

It could be a prankster ghost who found a way to irritate this person by doing this.

My advise would be to talk to the ghost and tell them to be nice and leave the doors alone.

Its worth a try.

I am not sure if you are familiar with Fairies, Gnomes, and the like. But, according to folklore and legend, these little people tend to hand out in door ways and arches. They are said to be able to pass through into this realm through doorways. Whether this is actually true or not, I have no idea.
But, I thought it was an interesting bit of information on the 'door' relation.


And, on the other side, as the previous poster said, it could very well be some pesky spirit that knows it bothers your brother, therefore it does that.

Is it only in that one house or has it been in other locations?

For the hell of it going to go deep into my book for something strange on this one.

Now I don't usually go this far into my book but here i go.

Ever heard of dual entities?It is very possible for someone so bent on certain subjects to create a version or shadow of yourself upon certain
things. Ecspeacialy if the persons mental state is a little fluid.

Where as we are supposedly in many different planes at once or dimensions as it were.We go thropugh life and die.Sometimes we leave energies and threads of information behind which take manifestation in many forms.

Now if a person is really compulsive on say doors being locked.It is possible that they are creating a disturbamce within their own world line posiibilites by obssesing that they have not locked the door.Which results in the ripple of reality of the person leaving the locks unlocked meanwhile you believe that you locked it in the first place.

This can also result in the melding of the two world lines in little or big ways..Leaving room for the occasionally slammed door,It is said that we are connected to many realities at once,even those where you did actually leave the door unlocked!

Its happened at four out of the past five houses, and at the house that it didn’t happen was when he was about 5 and I was 3 , but my parents and my uncle swear that they saw a little blue coulered(in appearence not by skin) boy and he was dressed in a sailors out fit

I threw your theory at my brother but he denied it and said that when he gets close to the unlocked doors he “feels” something and all his hairs stand up, but they don’t feel like goose bumps but more like static electricity, so he said that he thinks that’s impossible, even though he is a firm believer in the unknown.

How do we talk to it? Do we do a séance or use an Ouija board? If you could provide more information on prankster ghosts that would be very useful.

Tonight my Mum went down to the supermarket to get bread and once she left I went to watch TV, I remember noticing that the backdoor was unlocked and then watched TV for about 5 minutes, then I went back to my room and came back to the TV not long after and the backdoor was then locked. Both my siblings were asleep and my Mum was out of the house. What could've done that?

I just talk outloud to the air. I just posted about a missing pillowcase that had been sitting right on the floor. I said outloud "whoever took my kid's pillowcase better put it somewhere I can find it. Poor kid needs his pillowcase"

It showed up a few hours later.

I do this whenever something goes missing and it usually shows right back up

It just sounds like someone is playing pranks on your brother. Just talk to the air and ask for it to stop. I wouldn't mess around with seance's and ouija boards

All right ill try that, but speaking of missing objects, my toothbrush went missing and a pack of chap sticks, and my brother’s keys. We haven’t found any of them and I was curious if the keys had any special significance.

Oh I know.Don't worry that is just a slant of my view on this matter,I will be on later to give a more spectral answer,I just wanted to post something from the back of my book.lol

Aren't gremlins supposed to like 'between' places?
It's gremlins, right? I know there is one 'fairy tale'
creature that likes 'between' places like doorways,
property lines, that kind of thing.

I don’t know anything about gremlins, never seen the movies either, ill look into it.

My brother had another “experience” last night, he said that he got up out of bed to use the bathroom and when he did he heard this strange noise like a cat scratching the wall, and when he went to investigate (because we don’t have any cats) he heard the front door unlock the deadbolt click and so he went to the door and when he opened it the screen door was locked open, with that little slidy thing, so he shut it and locked the door back and as he was heading back to his room he heard the door unlock again, he said he ran to it and slung it open but nothing was there and once again the screen door was locked open. Can anyone please help me explain this or find a way to stop it. thanks

It could be a poltergist who knows your brother has an issue with doors being unlocked and locked so is screwing with him. Though to follow your family from house to house is a bit much for a spirit as they tend to stay in the house they died at.
It could be just that your brother's obsession is manfesting into a counteract of that so when he locks up and is worried that its going to unlock again. So it does and he does it if this is the case then maybe he should seek help for his issue.

Excellent Thread, It reminded me of incident I was just talking to my Son about which happened to us in the early 90's. Just give you a rough draft of what happened, I too a few times, heard my back door which is dead bolted inside and outside, need a key to go out as well as in! And this particular night, heard something put a key in, unlock it, open the door, close it, relock, take the key out and could here it placing it where I usually do. My Son also heard this as well!
We have had this happen a few times since moving into this house in 89. I prayed and bound it, said a special prayer for the property and always have my Warrior Angels guarding my property as well as the house, and of course Us as Well, and haven't been bothered by the door thing ever since! Thank God! I knew it was a spirit, entity, alien..... one of them - and got a holy anger within me - in order to take back the land so to speak, so that I wouldn't have to live in fear or be bothered by these so called evil mischievous beings! So you can try that placing Warrior Angels & if you believe in Christ, you can also apply the Blood of Jesus on the property as well of course with praying the words, not a literal action of course lol Hope that helps!

Toraylin Hi that was very interesting what you wrote, the information on the dual entites was something I never thought of or heard of before! That makes sense! For one person who would have a compulsive disorder would seem that they could be the type of person that could create such an entity to do the so called tidying up for him! The mind is so powerful, and the many dimensions that we are surrounded by, nearer than we think - makes this a very real possibility! Please if you may expound more on what you said earlier would be greatly appreciated. You have my attention for sure!

oh one more question Toraylin if you would, what about say if someone saw you appear at their home, while the real you was at home, this happened during the daytime, the person asked them oh I didn't hear you come in, and they stood there staring at them, so they asked are you ok, and went to touch them and they vanished poof right before their eyes.
They thinking since it was their son, thought maybe they had died, called to see if everything was ok with them, answered saying oh yes I'm great why you ask, they told them what happened, even told them what they were wearing that day! Some say doppleganger? What would you say what this was? Thanks Toraylin?

I might sound stupid asking the question but what’s a warrior angel? It sounds like a good idea I just don’t know what it is, and about the praying, I’m a “swaying believer” if you know what I mean, so I don’t feel that my prayers have a lot of impact so I can ask my brother or my dad to pray, thanks for the suggestions.

As it was Michael who fought against the Prince of Persia for 21 Days!
Hopefully that explains it enough for you!
Oh yeah, I always send my Warrior Angels to do battle for me, especially when all heck is breaking loose!
Everytime I do I get results quicker than if I don't!
