PODcast: Project Serpo: Revelation Or Hoax?
Although the Two out of Three Amigos covered this topic in a recent podcasts, I thought it would be appropriate to start a new podthread focused specifically on whether the Project Serpo story is fact or fiction.

Hi Majic,

I agree 100% with your viewpoint on Project SERPO that patience is the key and only time will tell.

The burden of proof falls upon Anon et al, we can but wait for our own level of credibility to be reached before stepping over to the believer's side of the fence. Of late the credibility fence has been steadily growing and will take a considerable level of proof for most to now believe in Project SERPO.

As for me? I'll be waiting for the next chapter to be revealed to continue my investigation of all things Eben. This may be a badly written and crafted piece of literature, but I believe that there is a story within this story which deserves our full attention; whether it's a hoax, partial hoax or the most amazing event that has taken place in the history of mankind.

BTW I enjoy your PodCasts, thoughtful well structured arguments whether right or wrong (in my view) are always a pleasure to hear.

Best Wishes

J

I just think the story has too many internal inconsistencies to be true. If it were about a mundane topic, I'd question it, but since it is such a fantastic story, I'll go out on a limb and say it's definitely a hoax!

The joy of skepticism comes from the liberation of not needing to believe anything.

Whatever the truth may be about Project Serpo itself, I am finding the story about the story to be almost as intriguing as the story itself, which is why I started this podthread.

Relentless: What's the point? Why was this publicized in the first place? Majic: Who benefits? I sound like a broken record, but it ALWAYS boils down to money and power.

No Majic - you missed my point asking what was the point.

My point is, what was the point of Project Serpo? There is nothing coming out about it other than recounting of experiences being involved.

No, if something of significance occured via project serpo, and for a decade long project, something should have, why has nothing been mentioned about that. Not one little speck or shred of info about some great impact to humanity other than "they exist"?

I just personally find it mind boggling that a suppossed decade long project of this magnitude has no claims of making any difference whether it occured or not. It is the lack of such claims I find hard to not need that "spoon full of sugar" to swallow this one.

Good point.

Shame on me for listening to podcasts while following a hot thread.

And yeah, just what was the point of the exercise if the end result is nothing more than a bunch of dubious narrative?

Maybe there's more to the story. Or not.

Ahh, the joys of skepticism.

NrKy contributes. Cold-war fiction? Why not more technology? Comparison of scope, using 'scary' scifi shows of the 80's. Disinformation? Discrediting ATS? Metacommentary. Debunking attempts.
