Strange occourance with my 4 year old.

you're doing a great job trying to help your children out. I actually wrote a huge post to you, but it got erased and i'm at work so i'll give u the summary:

1. good job for not shutting your kids down and believing in them, looking for a way to help them
   
2. maybe invest in a digital voice recorder that hooks up to the comp.
   
3. maybe video tape or webcam the boys room *not to post on the net, just for your own personal review*
   
4. try a controlled experiement one night w/video and voice with the boys in the room
   
5. one night w/ an empty room voice and video *let the boys sleep with you*
   
6. give them markers and crayons and ask them to draw what they see, or hear or anything they can't express words
   
7. finally, u have my support, anything u need, U2U me!

Kids are pretty smart, perhaps he saw the air raid siren on TV or something. Maybe he learned it in school. Who knows? He may have associated the sirens with planes or something.

No you are not. I'm sure there are people scattered around the globe that are also scratching their heads and trying to figure out what's spooking them. I personaly am familiar with this kind of stuff since nearly everyone (not inlcuding me, sadly) in my family has expirienced, seen, or heard something ghost related. The fact that many of them live close to a haunted forest in Poland is one of the reasons that my family even believes in this stufff. (when you have 66-year old Polish Catholic grannies who oppose ghost talk start talking about this stuff, you know there's something going on I'll also mention now that it all depends on the individual spirit on whether or not its freind or foe. For example, my uncle and his brother (my dad) have told me something that sent chills down my back. When they were both kids, they were in their kitchen minding their own business. The family had just finished dinner and were just relaxing. Then something broke the silence. There was a window shade on the door that had suddenly rolled up and slammed down with somewhat supernatural force when no one was anywhere near that door. 1-2 hours later, the phone rings. It was Uncle Frank calling to say that grandma (my great-grandma from my father's father's side) had passed away 1-2 hours ago....................... Is there a connection? I think there is........
A spirit like that can freek you out, but won't cause any harm at all. However, what if that was the spirit of someone a little more mean such as a crimminal?

As for that feeling you had, the sudden temperature drop, theres enough proof that the house is haunted. If possible, check the houses history and see if it's by any change built on burial ground. Well, good luck with this, and tell Casper I said hi. (just joking, I couldn't resist)

Normally, yes this would make sence. But the thing is I used to live right aross the firehall (in this same town) and my oldest son used to hear it (he was about 1 at the time) and run to watch the firetrucks. Wont be school he's only in Junior Kindergarden, He better not have yet anyways. I think his ABC's and 123's are a little more important than history(not that history isnt important) right now. Possibility of tv or something else though, But however he came of it it must have been pretty disturbing.

Here are those pictures of the 'possible orbs' i came across. And the odd thing is that all of these pictures were all taken on the same day, and in the pictures the 'orb' always seems to be near my oldest son???

Had a hard enough time doing as much as I did with the crappy proggy's that I have. (not much into editing photos, just taking them))

Lol, I sure hope its casper, He's the friendly ghost. But as stands I couldnt even talk my oldest son to even try to sleep in his bed with his protecter doggy (stuffed dog that he sleeps with)

I did a little (not much yet) on the current building I live in now (member I dont live in the huron park house, just used too) and found out that there used to be an old farmhouse here, and a large barn about 50 yds, west of it. The old drive in shed that we have here (just used for storage) is the original from the farm.

One more question for you knowledgeable ghost people. Can an orb or spirit be picked up on an infared camera? If so I'm going to convert my webcam to a nightvision (which is actually pretty simple to do) and see if I can observe anything in or around here.

Thank you for your support. (with out any I would have indeed gone crazy by now...) This question was the main reason I ever posted to this board in the first place (Not my first post, I had second thoughts about saying anything, plus I'm 1/4 Dutch and 3/4 anti-socialite lol Actually half Dutch half German, but thats just another strange issue... lol)

I talk in brackets way too much, I gotta stop that.

Ive actually thought about somehow making my digital camera take a picture every x ammount of seconds and maybe leaving here for the weekend or something, and just let it take pictures and pictures of the same spot, select a very wide and as complete view of my place as I can and hooking up my computer to record all weekend long, or most of it anyways I have lots of hard drive space (200+ Gigs) and analysing it when I come home and try to time stamp the pictures, and then cross reference this with times in the audio recordings and see what I come up with.

( ^ EDIT - Is this the worlds longest run on sentance? Call guiness, just had to leave it)

Only problem is the camera taking pictures on a time interval. I can set a single time interval but then its over. Anybody a really good hacker that could help me Hack my camera or something some how? Any other suggestions?

Just a question about still images v.s. video? Do orbs look the same or would I be looking for something else. Are these orbs cought on camera actually invisible to the naked eye but the camera just 'capture' the anomily of something it cannot reproduce?? I'm trying not to read to much outside material, I dont want to bias my own mind on this subject before I have an opportunity to understand it in my own terms first. Once I have my theory cross reference it with others.

Any suggestions welcome.

Honestly I’m a bit hesitant about orbs, if you live in an old house (like I do) you will always see something that looks like an orb in fotos but half of the time it'll be dust or something.

Funny though if u want I’ll post some pictures of my sister w/orbs (in one of her, u can actually see her concentrating on bringing spirits around her and there are 2 directly over her head.)

If I’m not mistaken u might be better off with a thermal cam, instead of an infrared. Especially if u have experienced rapid temperature change.

The other thing I was saying is, even though this might sound a little rough, I would suggest the boys sleeping in the room at least one night that you are taping, because, most of the activity is centered around them.

Any strange feelings right now? It’s night and I’m sure the boys are in bed, how are you holding up? I know this is real stressful for you. Feel free to talk about your feelings, I’m sure you need just as much consoling as your children do right about now. . .

You can read the book Childrens Past Lives by author Carol Bowman/Bauman(sp) These are real life cases of children who have had past life memories and documentation to validate them.

Have you ever thought this could be your son and not the house being haunted. Children and people who are on a higher level spiritually, and are open to recieving information are like a beacon of light attracting the spirit world to them. Usually the symtoms of a higher level soul become obvious between the ages of 3 and 5. It's good that you are listening to your son because most adults surpress a childs gifts because they do not understand what is happening and it is easier to deny and dismiss things as make believe or think that the child has seen scary movies etc. When adults do this to the children, they start believing what they see is not real and soon shut down the energy centers that are recieving the information.....putting up blinders so to speak.


I started recieveing visitations at a very young age. One very memorable visit was from an aged gentleman and his dog when I was around 5 years old. He started talking very fast and was drinking orange soda. He offered me soda and then disappeared to go get me some. While he was gone, I woke up my sister who shared the soda with me when he returned. We listened to his stories for what seemed to be hours and I remember them being quite funny. He was a town crier at one time ( I thought that meant he was sad and actually cried tears). He was a transient spirit who was afraid to go to the light and cross over when he died. He was lonely and just wanted someone to talk to. There are many spirits out there who are attracted to that beacon of light that shines from those who are gifted and spiritually open.

My son is also receptive to this. He started talking about train parts and engines at the age of 3, he was barely able to talk. He said he used to work on trains when he was a big person and worked with grandpa. I had not known, and verified with my mother, that my dad had worked in a train yard as a teenager. By the time he was four, he was seeing spirits and could close his eyes and see visions. He told me he had purple marbles when he closed his eyes and then behind the marbles were the pictures. He is 12 now and when he spends nights at his best friends house, the parents notice an increase in paranormal activity. This is the norm in our house. We are used to spirits and communication from the other side.

I know this is hard to do, but you need to somehow get him to release all of his fear. By showing you are not fearful will help him as well. Let him know that it is normal for this to happen and this will help him with the fear. Also find a method of protection tht you are comfortable with. I use a white light protection method in my home and with myself and my children. The thing is, we are open to good and to bad energies and need to be protected from those that are not good. I also ask for angels to camp around my home and my children.

Just kind of an odd note, I alway thought I'd be the last person on the earth to end up researching paranormal activity, but yet here I am.

I dont have any good/bad feelings about this place. Its actually served as my and my sons real first place we could call 'home' but just the fact of the bedroom scares the bejessuz outa my oldest son. The reason I asked if it could affect the way ppl act is cuz both my sons have a very disturbing anger when they get mad at miniscule things. Maybe this is a kid thing I dont know (i never did that when I was a kid... I was a perfect little angel.... YA whatever Jt)

Welllllll, there have been people before that have commited suicide because they got so incredibally frightened of some extreme pheonominons (I know, I spelled it wrong). That same uncle I've been talking about told me of a place (I think it's near my area, Illinois) that was built on an old Native American burial ground. I'm sure many of them moved out. I forgot exactly who, but I remember hearing about someone that actually got too emotinal and commited suicide because of fright. (I think this was elsewhere) Other than scaring you, I doubt (though I may be wrong) that ghosts can have any other affects. I'm sure its normal if your son gets wissed and goes nuts, I have a spoiled cousin that's about 4 who can actually cry out loud for over 15 minutes straight. It's quite amusing actually. As for them orbs, I'm skeptical about them too. It's hard to say what's up with them. If you recorded them on video camera and they stand perfectly still, then it's probably something like dust or somethin. Try taking pictures of the room too. I once had a social studies teacher who went to a haunted house open for visits. She decided to take a picture of a wall just to take home as a souvinier. Unnexpectically, a man's head and shoulders appeared on the picture, it was "ghostly" too. I seen the picture myself, she showed it to her classes. I also heard that supposedly someone in Poland (don't ask where my mom get's this from) took a picture of their dining room. There was no one in or near that dining room, however, a man wearing a suit and tie appeared sitting on a chair in the picture. I personally think that cameras have advantages over video cameras so give it a try. Take maybe 20 shots during different days, different parts of the day and see if anything shows up.

I think I'm like everyone else here as well on the skeptisicm of orbs. I dont really know much about the ghost world and other stuff. Anything beyond theoretical physics, math and science go way beond me.

Those pictures are however just three I came across, I havnt even looked any further for any phenomena in any of my personal pictures (and there are ALOT near 3 GB within 2 yrs)

I will take a look for some more.

Okay jta ive connected with you here so I am willing to say this.

Whereas in most cases with dealing with ghosts it is our own fear that stops us when dealing with these things.Many people would rather deem them to not be real.Then when another more perceptive person around them experiences some kind of phenomenon.Ut can effect you and open your perception.In many cases it is reality=belief+acculated knowledge.

There are many ways that you can distract or get the attention of ghosts and spectres.Aswell as make them nice and happy or mean and sad.

I am not really able to tell you how to get rid of them but I will say what I have done in the past.

Being atheist is a good way to start.Every little thing I put belief into can be or become true in reality.The one true higher power i have is my actual self.Not what I think now or did then.But my true core self.

Now these things scare the hell out of me.I have come across the ugliest things you could imagine.Look in the mirror and see yourself looking backat you?.Sometimes ghosts and spectres like to mess with you.Realize that mirrors are a reflection of our world.Not a real physical shape yet contained within exactness of our dimensions.

Anyway back to my post.Sorry kinda went off there.

I agree with the protection as I stated the same in a previous post. Insense and nature is a great method and simple....Look for a smudge stick which is like a large insense made of sage and lavander. You will light it on fire and walk around the perimiter of each room spreading the smoke as you go. Make sure you circle all of your windows and doors and special attention to the room you are having trouble with. If you do not have a spiritual or metaphysical store or specialty shop around that would carry these, you can do a search on line and find them. Usually only about $8 to $10. at the most.

As far as orbs go, your flash fired and it is probably dust reflecting. I get "orbs" in dusty areas. I really do not think "orbs" are anything.

As far as ghosts? Yeah, I do think they are around and some are more receptive to them than others. I have seen things out of the corner of my eye in this house. And no, my *house* isn't haunted. I think some people/kids just notice them more.

My Dad died in '91 and when my son was 3, he picked up a photo of him and said "Who is this?" and I answered that it was his grandfather, my Daddy. He looked at me and said "No, he is my friend, he talks to me". I have actually heard a male voice in their room when they were infants(they are twins) . It was loud enough to hear the bass of it, and words, but not make out what was being said. It didn't feel *bad* though.

Yesterday, I was changing all the bed sheets in the house(drudgery of housework!) and putting new spiderman sheets on one of my son's beds. the pillow case was laying near the other bed and right after I put the sheets on, the darn pillowcase was gone!!! I just had seen it!!! So, I dig through the dirty sheets, under the beds, inbetween the sheets, under the comforter ect;

As I was changing my daughter's bed sheets, I said outloud "Whoever hid the pillowcase I want to put it where I can find it by tonight. The poor boy needs his new pillowcase. Thanks!"

When I went to turn down the covers, there was a large lump under the comforter. It was the pillow case!! I just laughed as I figured it would be where I could find it later.

Now, when my kids would complain that things scared them at night, I told them to pray to God and that he would protect them. That prayers were the most powerful thing. Which, I believe. It is how I have dealt with frightening things and has always worked for me. They stopped crying at night after I gave them that info

Interestingly, FWIW, I felt very strongly as I read your post.

My sensings are not flawless. Not sure why, other than being human and not hearing 100% clearly etc. whatever Holy Spirit might be saying.

Most things I register as subtle impressions with varying degrees of intensity. 0% = none; 100% = literal burning bush 3' from my face, so to speak.

Have been, the last several years in a low frequency and quality mode in terms of what I sense and hear. That is, most things are very low-grade around say 05-10%--rather subtle.

However, as I read your narrative, I felt an above average intensity within my inner man, so to speak, in my spirit that your son was really sensing accurately when I read of the first incident. By the time I read the last incident, I was starting to feel VERY intensely, comparatively, about it. . . . say about 30-40%

I'd ask around and see if I could track down a brother or sister in your area who was a real prayer warrior and who really routinely heard from God fairly accurately. Take the child to that person and ask them to prayerfully discern what was going on with him.

I feel pretty strongly that it's important to not just dismiss such things. I feel it's important for him as well as for your family. Perhaps most importantly, it's important that he not be side-tracked into any counterfeit spiritualism sorts of stuff.

The sorts of phenomena you described have been increasing with children--as has been predicted for years.
