I am having trouble with my printer and i don't have the manual So I can't use the troubleshooting guide. The printer is a Lexmark C710 color laser printer. Everytime it prints something there is a blue stripe down the edge of each page. Anyone think they might know what the problem could be?

you might try installing the cartage again.

Or you could uninstall then reboot, then reinstall the printer, Windows XP has default drivers for your C710.
or you can get the drivers from the link below

If It runs top to bottom, in a perfect line straight down the page, on every page you print its something on the roller inside the printer.

did you have a paper jam and have to tear paper not long ago?
Maybe a staple of something small..
your should be able to open the cover, remove the toner drum and look straight at the roller.... be careful try NOT to touch it... there will probably be a flap, spring loaded flap that you can open with your fingers.
