Not sure there's any real need to 'adopt' anyone but there's plenty of people around here who will give you good advice....and a few who may give you bad advice.

I'd never joined an online site before I joined ATS and I haven't joined another one since, this is the online home I chose and I've never regretted it.

My advice to you and anyone else who has just joined is jump in the deep end, there's plenty of sharks about but they aren't man-eaters.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been a keen Aircraft Projects and Aliens and UFOs forum shadow watcher for a good double digit years now and thought I'd best join at some point. The Weird California sighting thread has captivated me from the start, now being from the UK, we have some brilliantly cool aircraft for all to see, but if anything in that thread is remotely true, then wow ..... Look forward to speaking to some of you around here!
