Russian H Bomb

I just found this today, it is a discovery channel vid of Russia exploding a Hydrogen Bomb.

They provide some interesting, if scary, details.

This test exploded a bomb 4X larger than the US has ever exploded-something to think about.

The mighty Tsar bomb...50 megatons.. Caused 2nd degree burns to observers over 200 km away. Created a new crater on the siberian island it was detonated over. They orginially wanted to make it a 100 megaton weapon, but the radiation would have been 10 times worse than the historic version.

Too big to be fitted in a bomber or on an ICBM and a perfect example of the Russian tradition of "OVERKILL."
