Many people today believe that god does talk to man. It is difficult to find someone who professes a belief in God, who does not believe that God
speaks to us today.
150 years ago, it was just the opposite. Most people believed that God stopped speaking to man back in biblical times, and there was no new
Revelation.
So I pose the question: Does God still speak to man?
If so, does he have a specific messenger, like Moses or Abraham? Also, how does he speak, and how does one hear him.
If not, assuming there is a God of some sort in the universe somewhere, why does he not speak?
