Huh, that is quite astounding. But you must take into account the fact that there are plenty of other man-made wonders that are not aligned so it could just be a coincidence.

That is just a summary of the theory, but it has many parallels to the information in your link. I read the book about 15 years ago, by Bruce Cathie, the title escapes me. This may be it, bridge to infinity.
